Ordered a donair with no veggies, simple request really. Got a donair with lots of veggies, won’t be back again.

My first order as we just moved to the area. Placed the order online, chose the cole harbour location, as I thought they would be the one for delivery to Eastern Passage. * I called the store and was told the order was sent to the woodside location. *I assumed it would take about an hour, at around 50 mins, the driver called to let me know that he was on the way and would only be another 5 mins I was really impressed that he called, he was really great ! The food was fresh and hot and exactly what we ordered. **** this will be our pizza place from now on

I order here often. Make your choice of 2 – 3 meats then add Mushrooms, roasted garlic and green onions. A real winner. Crust is light and tasty.

Literally the worst service I have ever received. We spent over an hour waiting for 3 poutines to be delivered a mile away… I will never order from here again. The fries were also cold and dry…

My last review was short and horrible. I’m going to review this on a bigger scale now. The food here is pretty good. The pizza is good, as with the other items I’ve tried. The burgers are delicious and so are the sandwiches. It seems to be a clean pizzeria which is good and the staff is exceptionally nice and welcoming. Slices are there daily and good. Can sometimes be dry but that’s what happens when it sits for hours etc. If it’s too dry the staff will usually discount it. A nice little location.

I’ve never actually set foot in this business. No! Wait! Don’t flag this review yet! I’ve never set foot in the door, but I’ve ordered delivery several times. And, best of all, I’ve ordered online. Seriously, why haven’t more food delivery places hopped on the online-ordering bandwagon? It’s so convenient for everyone(if it’s a well-designed system). I can play around with my order, perfecting it just the way I want from the list of available options. I can change my mind, edit, update, etc. Then the restaurant gets a nicely organized order form sent to them. The only downside to online ordering is that there is no estimate for delivery time provided. I would say, regardless of what the site says, you should expect the food to arrive an hour after you’ve ordered. That’s how it’s been almost time in my experience. So keep that in mind. Delivery guys are generally nice … that’s all I can really say about the customer service, after all. The food is the usual Alexandra’s fare; which I love. They have some great veggie pizzas and, in my past experience, the best pepperoni slice in the city. In the last few years, their menu has expanded to include lots of delicious(if unhealthy) sides like mozza sticks and whatnot. They may not be quite as hot as I’d like when they arrive but they’re okay(not great). Small gripe: I really wish they had the option of marinara sauce(instead of donair) with their garlic fingers.

My boyfriend and I ordered from this new location this evening, just seconds away from our place, next to Pharmasave and the old Sobeys building on Pleasant Street. We ordered the 2 medium pizza’s 5 toppings special, and added a garlic finger. The cost came to about $ 40, which is a bit steep but comparable to what I would have paid somewhere else, for the same items. I chose to place the order online as the website clearly said that the Woodside location is now taking online orders, and I figured it would be easier since we wanted some toppings only on half etc. So I ordered, got my confirmation number, and went over within 15 minutes to check to see if it was ready. According to the older man at the counter(I am assuming the owner of this location) I couldn’t have ordered online for this location because they do not have a printer to receive those orders yet. I explained that I did and chose the Woodside location in the drop down menu. He said he believed me and would call to see if it went to Highfield location. While on hold with them, he yelled back to the only other employee to see if she had our order. They did have our order but it came through as a delivery and was not put in the oven yet. He seemed confused as how they even got the online order, and I was confused as to why it was a delivery because I clicked takeout. Anyways, after that was cleared up, we paid and the man basically said that the online ordering system is a hassle and causes problems, so to just call in. I said that I would definitely will call in next time. This location is rather small, with 5 tables inside to sit in and eat, and a black leather couch. We got the pizzas within 10 minutes after they were put in the oven and then we were on our way back home. The pizza sizes seemed a bit small than the typical 12″ medium, but I forgot to measure and my boyfriend had half of the order gobbled down before I even had my plate out to get some. Despite this, the amount of toppings on the pizza definitely exceeding the amount any other pizza place would have put on — it does not cost extra for feta or cheddar cheese either. The pizzas were pretty good, although my boyfriend said his was not overly flavorful. The garlic finger was decent but the edges had no cheese or anything so it was just plain crust. Overall, I still enjoy Pizza Girls as our number one choice, but since Alexandra’s is now so close, when we have a pizza craving once in awhile, we might come here instead — especially if we want a cheesy pizza without having to pay the extra for more cheese, as cheese tends to be sparce on pizzas everywhere else these days. Also, if a company is going to offer online ordering, they need to make sure it works/all kinks are worked out because this is not the first time myself or someone we know has had an issue with the system.
