You know those cafés and shops that can treat people like crap and sell awful stuff just because they’re located in a prime location for office tower employees? Well, they could learn a lot from Biscuit Lips.
Aside from the strange name (I’ll have to get the story there at some point), this little cafeteria-​style bistro refuses to rest on its laurels, instead upping its game to offer friendly service, lovely tasting food (their spring rolls are pretty awesome), and a variety of snack and beverage options to all those in the Alderney Landing offices. They work away with smiles on their faces, joking with first-​time customers (me), and recognizing repeat visitors by name and by order.
No, it’s probably never going to be a lunchtime destination for you, but it’s nice to know that there are great options tucked away in this mammoth building for the next time you’re meeting with a city staffer!
