I had the same experience as Cheryl D. This company is horrid to deal with. Once the money is out of your pocket and in theirs you are toast. The «older lady» was terrible to deal with when I tried to return window treatments to the store as they were stitched improperly. That «nice» lady during the sale became a totally different person when I asked for a refund. Never deal with this store or you will be sorry!!!

I had a very positive experience here. The first time I came in, I was just checking it out and looking for a little advice regarding window treatments. I found the sales ladies very helpful and knowledgeable about their products as well as what would look good according to what I was looking for. I decided to come back with my measurements and made some final decisions. I ended up ordering new curtains for a large living room window, three valences, two blackout shades and curtains for our nursery. The price wasn’t cheap, about 700 $ for all these items, but really, I think that is pretty reasonable, considering I had a lot of custom work done. I really found the staff here friendly and helpful and they really had a sense for interior design so they could help me make some decisions. I was very happy with the product as well. I would certainly recommend Encore as a place to look for custom window treatments.

I’m shocked at the last review. I love it there. They have always been extremely helpful and incredible customer service. I have been going to them for a year now. I bought a house last year and had to have curtains for every room. They let me take home 15 different panels so that I could hang them and choose which ones I wanted. I brought in a picture of a curtain I liked and they made it for me! Gorgeous and at a fraction of anywhere else. Then I found curtains I liked but they were rod pockets which i didn’t like so they put grommets on them and lined them for me. I was redoing a bedroom and they let me borrow curtains, duvet cover, curtains and throw pillows to put in the room to see if I liked it — I didn’t and brought them all back with no issue at all. They are super with the stuff I had to return as well. I have recommended them to my friends.

If you’re looking to get good customer service, DO NOT go to this store. I recently was shopping for a new bedspread/​duvet and a new set of sheets. I spotted this store and thought it would be a good idea to have a look.
When I walked in, I had an older lady approach me. She seemed so helpful and eager to sell me their product. I wasn’t 100% sure that what I was buying was what I was looking for. Anyways, I bought it and regreated it right away. I felt I spent too much money on it and wasn’t sure I liked the pattern up against my wall when I got home.
Anyways, apparently their return policy is 7 days because on the 8^th day, I tried to return this (never used) and I was shut down. They literally hung up on me when I called. I was devistated by the lack of customer service. It was almost as if she was just looking for my sale… once she got it, I didn’t matter.
I will never shop this store again!
