I actually did not find this Starbucks too bad! It surprised me that it was as busy as it was. But considering that it is off the highway, and next to a bus stop — it should not have surprised me. The only negative that I could see(after spending an afternoon studying at this location) is that there were not enough tables/chairs for patrons. There was at least 4 – 5 occasions during my ~5 hours in the store(again, studying!) that people who were looking for seats ended up leaving because the store was full. This was a Thursday afternoon, so I can only imagine that the problem is intensified during busier times(evenings, weekends)

The ambience and relative cleanliness were fine for a Starbucks. Similar to many others, the service received was painfully slow. Staff seemed nice and for all the time it took to get my latte, at least it was well made and hot. It is a bit perplexing giving the vast number of people on staff the day I went that it still took upwards of 7 – 10 minutes.

Did you ever see a car accident and just knew it was going to happen before it did? Well, welcome to Starbucks at 547 Portland St. Its a daily adventure going here, like playing a game wondering what drink you will get. Even with the labels on the cups, they manage to consistently play a game of April Fools with you 364 days a year. I went there one morning at 715 am and they ran out of cream. FYI they are next to a Needs and Sobeys. I suggest this Starbucks work on training, keeping their employees of their smart phones, and communication to each other, instead of their fb friends. Get it together.

I love Starbucks but not this one. I’ve been here twice and the first experience was with my dads girlfriend who asked for a hot chocolate and got coffee(at least she tasted it before leaving) The second experience I got my normal drink which is a grande caramel frapp and it was so bland and tasted practically like water… Probably never going back here
