Are you kidding me… This place was rated so high on another review site, so my husband and I decided we would try it. I love asian food, it is one of my favorites… if not my all time fav food but this place was so disappointing:(It is close to my home, so I wanted it to be so good. First off they had no Sweet and Sour Chicken which is what my husband wanted, I ordered a vermicelli bowl and he ended up getting pad thai. Both, not great… very bland, the best thing about the meal was the free onion cakes which were actually good but how hard is an onion cake!!! The spring rolls were not very good, they even tasted undercooked to me. Their won-ton soup was probably the worst I have ever had, I didn’t even eat it… Overall if you like it here, you either have never had good asian food or just have no tastebuds. The service was alright and we did get 10% off most likely due to the fact they had no chicken. This is why the 2 stars! Try Quan’s for a good vermicelli bowl :)

Tucked away on the corner of 127th street and 127th avenue, next to a liquor store and beside the Tim Hortons that has no drive thru, lies a little gem called Asian Fusion. The food here is wonderful, never had anything I didn’t like. Stand outs for me include beef salad roll and their house Hot & Sour soup served at lunch time with your meal. A nice touch is that they also offer Bubble Tea. They only two things that I haven’t been wild about are the fact that they don’t always have Sago for their Bubble Tea & that their menu has too many options. Other than that, the staff is very friendly & the portions are generous. Now, you must excuse me for I have a craving for Salad Rolls…

My husband and I discovered Asian Fusion one day just driving by. It’s kinda tucked behind the Tim Horton’s by the old Totem Hardware… so you have to look for it! They truly are a fusion offering chinese, thai, and vietnamese. What we love there are the salad rolls! They offer salad rolls in lots of varieties — pork, chicken, shrimp, beef — and all come with meat that has been grilled vietnamese style in what I believe to be lemongrass and teriyaki(for the beef one). My husband just loves the flavor! Also, their vermicelli bowls are pretty good, too! The prices are reasonable and they have great lunch specials! We’ve been there about 7 or 8 times in the last 1 ½ years… enjoy the modern décor, Michael Buble is usually playing in the background, and it is family run. Family and kid friendly! They even make Bubble Teas, so we’ll frequently order one to go! Closed on Mondays

I stumbled upon Asian Fusion while running errands this week and am glad I did! Like the name suggests, Asian Fusion is a restaurant that specializes in Asian fusion cuisine: Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Thai. I liked this restaurant from the moment I walked in. The décor is in keeping with the minimalist theme often found in Asian design. The gray, black and white motif stood out against the fabulous tin ceiling. The chandelers are breath-taking(check out a pic in the gallery) and of course I’d notice them, they’re shiny, sparkly and glass! I stopped in for lunch and everything on their lunch menu is under$ 10. I had the lemon grass chicken along with a Vietnamese coffee. I was surprised at the serving size as it was certainly worth more that $ 7. The veggies were fresh and crisp, the chicken wonderfully marinated and the rice good and sticky, with just enough punch to tingle your taste buds. I like trying different thing so I gave the Vietnamese coffee a try and was something I don’t think I’d have next time. It was tasty, very sweet(contains sweetened condensed milk) and I loved the drip apparatus at the top of the mug. It was too sweet for me but I know my husband will love it. The service was good — should be I was one of 2 groups there. I was told by the server the restaurant has been there for just over a year and they are always busy in the evenings and on the weekends and the lunch crowd is usually regulars(I can totally understand that!). Asian Fusion is nearing the end of a renovation which includes updated interior and inclusion of a private dining room. It is certainly worth your time checking out. I know I’ll be back.
