I’ve never been overly impressed with Bad-Ass Jack’s, although it’s still a much healthier option than most fast food. I just found their wraps a little boring, and packed with too much rice and not enough other stuff. Contents are important, but I’m all about the flavouring of the ingredients, and there just seems to be a bit of a shortage of seasoning to their food. I ate there once and never had the desire to go back. Of course, if I lived in a small town without many, or perhaps any, healthy options, this would probably be my favourite place to eat out. Maybe in a big city we’re just getting spoiled! We all get attached to our favourite places, and Bad-Ass J’s just isn’t one of mine. There’s nothing wrong with it, but there’s nothing super exciting about it either that makes me crave more.

Bad-Ass Jack’s reminded me why I’m not particularly a donair person — they’re messy and I have yet to experience one that blows my tastebuds away. I will say that Bad-Ass Jack’s gives you a large portion for your buck though. One of their donairs makes for a filling dinner, I tell ya. The messiness could also be because I’m such a slow eater too, with all the sauces dripping towards the bottom. And they do have some of the healthier donairs I’ve seen, because they’re not as greasy. But it’s still a meal that needs a little more punch.
