I would not recommend their salads because they don’t wash the lettuce. Once, they opened the lettuce package and started cutting right away in front of me.

If you can tell me why brown rice, chicken, feta, green onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, Sriracha hot sauce, and ranch dressing taste so awesome when slapped together and eaten out of a styrofoam box, please get back to me. Despite many attempts, I’ve never been able to faithfully recreate Beez’s signature dish, the aptly named«Chicken, Feta, and Veggies.» It’s a deceptively easy meal, apparently, because it never tastes right when I make it. Don’t bother – just come here and order it. And feel ashamed because you inhaled 2000 calories’ worth of rice in a single meal, not because you utterly fail at mixing rice and condiments in perfect proportion.

This is one of the only places I will eat on campus. It’s the healthy alternative to rest of hub mall. I enjoy the feta, chic peas, chicken and rice dish, although sometimes I get it with tofu. I always feel better once I’ve eaten healthy as then I can continue to study. When I eat fast food I always feel tired and sluggish so I avoid it at all costs because I can’t afford to not be studying while on campus. The service at bees is pretty good, most of the staff are friendly and they let you substitute items you don’t want for things that are more attuned you your tastes. One unfortunate thing about Beez is that it is only open till 6pm. If you plan on getting dinner on campus make sure you get here early. Over all I have had nothing to complain about with Beez. It’s my go to place when I forget my lunch and/or dinner!

No time between classes for a knife-and-fork kind of meal, but require something to keep you going? Beez is where it’s at. The name says it all — fast food that’s healthy, too. A selection of fruity shakes to keep your energy levels up on your walk to class, or a choice of hearty salads if you have a few extra minutes to spare. I love that the staff here let you choose which veggies go into your salad. Want to enjoy a healthy Caesar salad that has more than just lettuce? Add tomato, cucumbers, peppers… the works!

Beez is a decent place to get smoothies, especially if you’re in a hurry and don’t have enough time to sit down and eat a full meal. The prices are *slightly* more expensive than Booster Juice, which is rather annoying because their smoothies aren’t that much greater to be honest. The first smoothie I bought from here was a tad too sweet, but second one I got was good.

When I was in university I wish they had fast food joints like this on campus. At U of A, you can get virtually anything you want at the HUB mall for lunch, including tasty good-for-you soul food. At Beez, you can order a fruit shake with suppliments or a healthy lunch of salad with chicken, veggie chili or wraps. The price is pretty much the same as Booster Juice. It’s surprising, though, how many people are eating comfort foods like New York Fries or «Chinese» food instead of choosing a healthy option. But at least it’s there, so you can power up for an extended study session and fuel your brain without compromising your waistline.
