This little café is well served by major roads, a good walking path nearby(out from the river valley), and nearby bus connections. The bike rack isn’t within viewing distance of the café, but otherwise it is really accessible for a café in a strip mall in a residential area. The café itself provides a WIDE range of food and beverage options from alcoholic drinks to coffees to paninis to pizza to soup and tea. I had a milkshake and sat out on the patio with some folks with whom I was meeting and had a rather lovely time. Staff is really friendly and the area is kept reasonably clean. One of the patio chairs was a bit damaged but it is nearing the end of patio season so that is understandable. There were also a number of bees nearby but they weren’t unfriendly. Someday I’ll try their food options out but in the interim I look forward to visiting again for a tea.

Love this place! Great on a sunny afternoon, or a rainy morning, or date night Good lunch and snack choices, great atmosphere. Love the featured art, and the live music.

I’ve been to Jeffrey’s a few times now and it’s really a cozy little place to grab a sangria($ 5 when it’s on special!) with a girlfriend and catch up over some snacks. In the Crestwood neighbourhood right near Delux Burger Bar and a few independent shops it definitely fits the vibe of the area. During most evenings they have live music and anytime I’ve been there for it the performers have been of the jazz genre… I don’t know anything about jazz but I’ve always liked what I heard. If you want a place to grab a glass of wine where you won’t feel judged by the staff for your orders and some tasty snacks stop in here. It’s a great place to spend a few hours with some good company.(also – free parking! Whooo!)

I really enjoy this place. The staff are always friendly, they have reasonable salads and sandwiches and a decent selection of tea. I went here a lot during my college summers and always felt welcomed, despite my tendency to sometimes spend 2 hours reading in here. It definitely has that sort of «Friends» vibe.

Jeffrey’s is tucked in a stripmall in the west end. There’s not a lot of nonchain, local coffeeshops on this side of the city, so I think Jeffrey’s is a great addition. They have coffee, and they have wine. What’s not to love? It was a bit busier than I expected when I sat down. The coffee was pretty good, and the space is quite nice. They’ve also got a little menu of sandwiches, soups, etc. If I lived in the area this could easily make this my regular coffee/drinking spot.

It’s a café, it’s a wine bar, it’s both! Jeffrey’s is the best of both worlds, a cute and cozy coffee bar during the day that is tucked into the trendy Parkview/Vallyview area. At night it is a quirky wine bar that often has live music and at all times an abundance of sweet treats. The live music can sometimes be a bit odd, think Pheobe playing at Central Perk on Friends… But it does make for an interesting night!

This is one of the lowest ratings I’ve given, but that’s all because of the poor service… I’ve been here several times before but never had service like tonight! 20 minutes in and no one had come to our table(and it’s a wine bar for frick’s sake!), the food was great though and so was the wine we chose, a Spanish Syrah blend… And the music was fabulous as usual! So perhaps just an off-night for the staff, but that’s so much of the experience! Will look forward to next time and hope for a better result!!! :-)

I am Jeffrey’s newest and biggest fan. I love cafes. I love wine bars. Jeffrey’s is both! It’s quieter during the day, with plenty of tables and a few couches perfect for getting work done or catching up with friends. They offer some light lunch items — soups, salads, wraps. I haven’t tried the food yet, but one table over ordered the pizza and it looked divine! In the evening, the wine is flowing and the place really fills up, especially when live music is booked(which is most nights). You’ll probably need to book a reservation if it’s a popular act, usually before 8PM. This is a perfect first-date kind of place(either in the morning or the evening, depending how badly you want to impress her) and I really dig the fireplace and low lighting. My only qualm: it took me about a half hour to get the wifi working on my laptop.

I love going here for a lazy afternoon, an important conversation with a friend, or a lovely night of local music.

This is a good place to catch some local jazz musicians and meet with friends. Don’t expect anything fancy or inventive. The food is plain-Jane coffee shop. ‘Café and wine bar’ is a bit of a stretch if you are used to being tempted by new tastes and great wine. Our meal was light and ok by simple-home cooking standards. The wine was mediocre, not horrid but not worth trying again. However, this place has a lot of shows with very respectable musicians. We’ll likely be back for the music, but not for the food.

Going there for an afternoon snack or an evening drink is enjoyable. Jeffrey makes a great atmosphere for live performances and along side his staff works hard during concerts to ensure everyone’s glass is filled and that people are happy. Worth your while, although sometimes the weekend morning coffees are unpalatable.

Jeffrey’s is a comfortable, little café that was surprisingly busy. Most of the people here are going about their business and kind of treat it like their office. People on laptops or reading books and kids doing homework. The food isn’t bad at all, they make fresh sandwiches and pretty much all of their food is fresh. I have heard they have live music on some nights which is cool. If you’re an artist this would be a nice venue for you.

Jeffrey’s is a neighborhood favorite for me. I live very close by and enjoy sitting on my balcony at night in the summer, listening to the live music on Thursdays-Saturday nights. Its even better to listen to in the shop itself of course. Ticket prices are usually around 10 – 15 $, although some performers can sell out quickly with ticket prices as high as $ 35. During the rest of the week, Jeffrey’s is a coffee shop that caters to people of all age groups and all tastes. It is a comfortable place to sit and read, or write or have a chat. There is also food available and some of their sandwiches are awesome! Unfortunately, their coffee isn’t anything to visit specially for, especially not the locally named Crestwood blend. I’ve tried to drink their coffee on numerous occasions and its just not great! They also have alcoholic drinks and their patio is open most hours in the summer.

When I am shopping in Crestwood, and feel like grabbing a quick bite, Jeffrey’s Café is my usual choice. This café is small, cozy and always busy. People sit at tables with their laptops, read newspapers or just chat. I know that Jeffrey’s often hosts live concerts from local musicians, so do not be alarmed if when you come in there’s a big noisy crowd of people at the back of the café waiting for the concert to start. Jeffrey’s serves alcohol but it’s not alcohol I’m after but rather the delicious coffee drinks and grilled sandwiches. I recommend you try diablo and salmon melts. They may be a bit expensive for sandwiches but once you pair them with a cup of latte or snowcap espresso, you’ve got yourself a meal that is sure to make you feel full. Great little place with friendly customer service; highly recommended.

Jeffrey’s Café is a small establishment in the Crestwood neighbourhood that has been growing in popularity. Attracting a wide range of ages, the café is more than just a coffee shop. You can get freshly-made sandwiches, salads, soups, and wraps. My favourite is the turkey avacado. Dessert lovers will appreciate the selection of cakes, muffins, and cookies, as well as ice cream, milkshakes, and other sweet treats. Make your coffee break more exciting with the selection of flavoured and iced coffee beverages. I enjoy the mocha milkshake on a warm day, and the café latte when it is cooler. Jeffrey’s has both regular tables, and comfy seats and sofas. There is live music on some nights of the week(a cover charge applies). You can also enjoy a variety of beers, wines, and liquors from the extensive bar. The atmosphere is classy without being snooty. Drink prices are reasonable. Food is a bit on the pricey side, and portions are not huge. However, this is a cool place to have a business meeting, catch up with friends, and just enjoy some relaxing time to yourself.
