I bought a couch and love seat off the floor because the lady said to get the couch from Italy could take 4 months. She said to look over the products for defects or damages. My frame broke recently on the love seat. I am now told well anything bought of the floor doesn’t come with any manufacturers warranty. Even though this Natuzzi has a 10 year warranty on the frame according to the manufacturer website. Not impressed.

This past week we went sofa/chair/couch shopping all over town. I wish I had a 3.5 star option because I just can’t bring myself to say 4 stars = yay, I’m a fan but I would still recommend this store to anyone on the hunt for the perfect living room furniture. They had a whole section dedicated to theatre seating and had some really unique pieces(giant spinning couch/chairs). Overall, we didn’t opt to buy our main pieces here and went with LA Z Boy instead but this place is still worth a luck if you’re on the hunt for new furniture. The location is on St. Albert Trail next to a bunch of other furniture places and easy to get to from the Yellowhead or 137th avenue just off St A Trail. This isn’t a discount store so expect prices to be higher than the Brick or Leon’s for sure.

What started out as another quiet night of looking at sofa options, ended up being the night I made my decisions. I like a store that greets you but gives you time to wander around on your own unless you need help. I had viewed their website prior as I knew the style I wanted. Jennifer Sides was very helpful once I found the sofa I really liked. Being able to customize a sofa for the first time I was excited by all my options. Let alone the«Clara» sofa and all it’s different configurations. She helped me go through some fabric options, explaining the fabric grade and rub ratings. When I had narrowed it down to a few that I really liked she did up a full pricing and list of my fabric selection. Also she supplied me a print out of all the sofas measurements. I did have another style I was looking at and she brought me to the floor model if it; but after sitting on it I knew the Clara was for me. I will be back this week to see her to place my order. I forgot to ask about delivery charges but other then that we covered all the wood samples, other customization to the chair like piping options, and all the pillows a girl could want. They had offered to rent out the fabrics to be but Im moving to a new place and will be starting with a clean slate. I do like shopping/supporting with local stores that deliver great products. So now the hard work is over and I can go in and finalize the purchase with all my fabric selections already made.

My mum and dad decided to get us a glider chair for our baby’s room, and finding one that isn’t either horribly ugly or horribly expensive has been a challenge. Mum and I went to Sofaland today to have a look around and were immediately greeted by a sales associate who introduced herself as Deb and asked if we needed anything. W wanted to take some time to browse the store, and she left us alone to do just that. We had it narrowed down to a style I loved before she came back to check on us and bring two huge books of fabric samples. Once we had everything picked out, pricing and ordering the custom piece was quick and easy. I’m really looking forward to the chair coming in, and will post an update about the rest of the experience once it’s all said and done!
