This place is a great alternative to the normal fast food choice. I’m a big fan of the bangkok wrap with prawns but there are a ton of options so you’ll never get bored. The food hasn’t been overly fast but that may be the trade off to ensure quality.

The food here is AMAZING! I am so thankful I stumbled across this place, because it’s delicious-yet still moderately priced. Try their popeye wrap! This location in particular only gets a 3 star from me, only due to the service. The girls here are pretty young, and although the food was made well, they were a bit sloppy and it took much longer than other locations to prepare the food because they were texting behind the counter.

Let me start with the fact that the food and ingredients here are amazing! We can’t get enough of the evil peanut sauce, it’s fantastic! This being said… we’ve eaten here a half dozen times now and none of them were without issue, and after tonight we felt we should mention something. This evening, over an hour before closing we witnessed over a 10 minute period the cashier ignore a new customer who decided after being poorly treated once she had her attention to leave instead of eatting here. Then the same person decided to put all of the chairs up onto tables around a couple still eatting dinner and then had the audacity to ask us to lift our feet where we were sitting so she could sweep there. A few of the issues: Twice we’ve had to deal with cashiers who couldn’t process a sale using a gift card, one even asked us if we could just pay instead. Twice we’ve had orders that were missing paid ingredients, avocados both times. Once we had a cashier not know what a side order was so we received a wrap with 4x the sauce on it. I could go on but for 6 experiences these many issues are just too much. Keep paying for cheap help but at least have someone there to actually supervise or train them to a slightly higher standard. Needless to say just tonight this location could have potentially gained or lost 5 clients simply due to customer service. So, great product but terrible staff, give it a try and see if it’s worth it.

Evil peanut mmmmm … This is the first and best chopped leaf location I have eaten at, the other locations are better than any other fast food options, need to get some more in Calgary too

Oh my goodness is this place great! This is the escape from fast food hell I’ve been searching for. The salads are amazing. Everything is fresh and you can add the protein of your choice. They also offer fresh made soups and wraps. The staff are friendly and spunky. The only area of improvement I could offer up is that there needs to be a more obvious place to put your dirty dishes. Not a big deal and I’ll be back often.

About a month ago, I received a message from the owner apologizing for the experience I had here. She said that some thing had changed and asked if I would like to come back and have lunch on them(she would email me a coupon to use). At the time I thought, wow, even though my review was 6 months ago, it’s wonderful that they have reached out to me now. I did reply to the message saying I would give it a shot and gave my email address but unfortunately it’s been 6 weeks and haven’t heard a peep.

The owner contacted me and gave me a coupon for a free entrée to try it again. This time I ordered the pegasus with grilled chicken. I was extremely pleased to receive a larger quantity of dressing this time. I will go back again! Thanks for the free salad

I visited here for the very first time just recently and was pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes and food quality. I would certainly eat here again! It was difficult to pick a salad to eat as so many options were available but I liked this aspect. My salad was great and the added protein of chicken made it rather filling too. I also really liked the nifty shape of the bowls that the salad was served in. This place doesn’t have a whole lot of seating space, partially as the restaurant is popular enough that it gets full quickly. It is well lit and clean and bright which helps a lot.

While out on sales calls my crew and I decided we wanted something healthy for lunch(actually I kind of decided and nobody argued) so we decided to try here as none of the 6 of us had ever been before. Holy cow. The lineup was practically out the door which is always a great sign. They were also pounding people through at a pretty steady pace which is also a good sign, the staff was on their game and working well. Between all of us we ordered something from each part of the menu… quesidellas(which I was told were just outstanding), sandwiches and wraps(which garnered the same praise), soup(the only complaint there was that the serving size was a bit much to go with the quesidella but I think that has more to do with the fact that the person ordering had eyes bigger than their stomach) and my rice bowl which was just so so so awesome. Everything looked divine, it tasted fresh, it was hot, it was fantastic. Service was on point, the Chop’t water was delicious. I ordered the wrong bowl for myself(I wasn’t paying attention and said the wrong number, I didn’t know this until my food was in front of me) and I was very sad but decided to make the best of it and took a bite anyway. I was blown away! Even though I thought wasn’t interested in eating that particular flavour combination that day the first bite changed my mind. Just outstanding. Whatever magic it is that they do with that rice is unbelievable. You can bet I’ll be back, and soon. It is right near my workplace so I forsee a summer filled with rice bowls and salads.

Awesome! I checked out the menu online and did an order for pick up for the BBQ chicken quesadillas. The service on the phone was quick and polite and my order was ready when I got there. Hands down the most delicious quesadillas of my life. Funky vibe in this place too– very cool. Would definitely go back. Maybe next time for a salad– they look delicious too and aren’t crazy expensive!

I absolutely love the food here. I first tried their wraps when they catered an event at my work. The wraps were super fresh and different then your run of the mill catering. There were great mixes of flavored in the wraps like feta, cranberries and balsamic vinaigrette. I think my favorite wrap here is the chopped signature with all of these flavors. It’s a great place to stop in for a healthier lunch when your looking for something other then a big fat burger. The food might be a little light for me for dinner but they have quesadillas and salad rolls to make it into a little bigger of meal. I thoroughly enjoy the place and there are many of them opening up all I’ve the city so they must be doing something right. There is even a kids menu for something geared towards the younger crowd. Lol.

Had a design-your-own salad, and loved the concept. Too many restaurant ready-made salads either have ingredients I don’t like or cray amounts of dressing. So I end up annoying my waitress with all kinds of crazy modifications! I haven’t tried their soup there, but everyone tells me is delish. What I really appreciate though is the kids menu-the chickie wrap is favourite, and she chooses over McDonalds! Prices are reasonable, although I wish the actual place was bigger. Lineups get pretty long around noon, so show up a little early!!!

Went here for lunch got the salad to go. Got back to my office to find a TINY little container of dressing in the box. DO you know how hard it is to toss a salad with dressing in a box with a plastic fork???

I absolutely LOVE The Chopped Leaf. One warning I would say is to make sure that you go during slow times, because lunch hour is absolutely nuts, as well as around 6PM — 7PM. A good time to go would be on a Saturday around 4PM. It’s worth it. There is free WIFI there for people who are interested! There are a lot of options for food, such as creating your own salad bowl. I’ve done that a couple times. However, the PESTOCRANBERRYSANDWICH on the menu is absolutely AMAZING. Such a perfect tasting sandwich! I pretty much decided to write this review based on the sandwich alone! I wanted to get the word out on this awesome menu item! As well as the sandwich, I also really like the different types of soups they offer! Usually a cheese and broccoli, thai lentil, or spicy creamy tomato. I’ve tried all three(which are usually all offered) and all three have been very good. I love the little welcome white board at the front explaining who the staff is and what they would recommend. You can tell why this is such a busy place, it’s great! A really nice and quick little spot where you can get a great meal. Healthy too!

It was salad. Nothing much more to say about it… except that it was a bit overpriced for what you get. The Chopped Water is ridiculously overpriced at $ 1.50 — make sure you get the coupon by texting the number on their signs if you want to try it.

While the line was out the door and we took our order«to go» to get back to work on time, it was well worth the trip! I opted for the«create your own» salad which allowed me the ultimate choice of taking the chipotle ranch dressing and leaving the corn salsa.(Okay, so maybe I’m a little picky, but this girl got what she wanted!) I was SUPER impressed with the fresh ingredients and the price of my salad… staff were efficient and friendly too. If this restaurant wasn’t such a far drive from campus I would be in big trouble. Good thing it’s pretty close to home, cause I’ll be back for sure!

I wanted something healthy for lunch and my boyfriend chose to take us here. This place is similar to Freshii but a little more pricey, I think. I wanted a wrap made with a large collared green leaf instead of a wheat tortilla, but that’s not available here. So I settled for the Sunshine salad(full $ 8 ½) with added chicken($ 3). It was a very good salad and all the ingredients were fresh. For my drink I chose water. Chopped Leaf adds minced strawberries and pineapple to their water, which adds flavor. Water refills are free. My boyfriend had a sandwich(can’t remember what it was) and Broccoli and cheese soup. We had a good dining experience here. The food was good and the staff was pleasant and professional. I can see myself coming here occasionally.
