Waited over ten min for a bunch of employees who were not busy to make me a steak panini. The place was not busy, only random people coming in for coffee. Not impressed, just got my money back and will never come back again.

I’ve been here a few times, especially since my bank is right next door. Unfortunately, I’ve always had a bad experience here, either the bagel isn’t cut into two equal parts or the sandwich is all over the place. Generally, I’ve found that the service at this particular branch is not very good. It is a Tim Horton’s and there’s nothing much else to talk about a chain in general. The quality of stuff is good, in the Tim Horton’s sense of the word, and as long as it isn’t something the staff have had to prepare. I’ve also had a bad experience with the washroom on two occasions. It’s not been very clean and has had weird odors emanating from it. LOL, that’s not something you want to hear about a washroom! I’d always walk the extra distance to the Timmies in front of the hospital(on 112th street). I prefer that location, definitely. On Sundays I’ve seen a lot of bikers here so I guess it’s a popular joint in the biking community.

There is not much to say that hasn’t been said before, it’s an institution. I will comment on this location though. For some reason unknown to me this I the local biker hang out in the summer. So if you have a bike like me and want to meet some fellow riders this is where they hang out. No drive through but 2 tills that are pretty quick.

All the Timmie’s are the same. the only reason I would rate this a full 5 is for the sole purpose that in the summer this Timmie’s has become the home for a lot of bike riders like me. Whether we get there in the morning and they have warm soup and breakfast wraps and donuts waiting for us or lunch/supper where I usually get my favorite everything bagel with herb and garlic and lettuce and tomato with a coffee… they’re always ready for us and the staff is always smiling.

I don’t know how Canadians survived before Tim Hortons. Really, I don’t. The reason I love this particular location of my beloved Timmy’s, is because it’s different. First, there is no drive-thru. You actually have to go inside. What a concept! I like that because it is part of the Whyte Ave culture. Drive-thrus just don’t fit in. I’ve also never had to wait in line for more than 45 seconds! This is not a very busy location so I always get what I want right away. The inside of this location is actually nicer than some of the other Tim Hortons I’ve been to as well. It looks a bit more modern than some of the other ones. If you’re on Whyte and don’t feel like spending $ 10 at Starbucks, stop into Tim Hortons and get and AMAZING coffee for under $ 2.
