Located in the Ferry terminal waiting for the bus there are some really great shops that you can browse while waiting for the bus. This Facotry Outlet is one that is designed for the homemade wool sweater person. You know those ones that your mother or grandmother made for you that lasted for years and kept you warm while out in the Halifax snow.
Well look no further cause you can get another one here. Not only are there sweaters available you can get the whole outfit. Hats in all designs, scarves and socks. Not only does this location sell these articles they of course have souvines and regular NS T-shirts and even a combo pack of hat and T-shirt for $ 15.00 bucks. So it you are looking for a small trinket to take back home then stop by.

If you are looking for a great wool sweater then this would be a good choice. This store carries some tourist t-shirt and trinkets to sell. However it has a beautiful selection of knit sweaters. These sweaters are made in PEI (Prince Edward Island), they are created by knitting panels by hand on antique Swiss knitting looms.
You can tell as soon as you look at them the craftsmanship and quality that has gone into these sweaters. These sweaters will last a lifetime and really never go out of style.
I wish I had the extra cash to purchase one. maybe on my next visit.
