Coco Beach Tanning Studio on Quinpool Road is just one of the many locations of the franchise across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland. Their expertise is of course indoor tanning and this particular studio is equipped with six tanning beds. There are three basic things that I look for in any tanning salon I frequent; how tanned the people working there are, cleaning products for the beds between customers and fairly cheap tanning packages. Both the service and atmosphere at Coco Beach were great. I was told about a sale on lotions(which were still over $ 50) and everyone was nice and tanned(and it was February) so I knew they were fans of what they were selling. Each room is equipped with a tanning bed, eye covers, music and a towel. A fan at the end of the tanning bed cooled the bed that I used and it was actually really comfortable. The prices for individual tans and packages weren’t the best I’ve seen but they are still pretty affordable, especially when you buy in bulk. If you’re going for the«Jersey Shore» look or plan to use tanning beds excessively(which I should warn, isn’t any safer than tanning outdoors) there is a unlimited tanning packages that include 1 year for $ 400. Hot Hint: If you are a new customer be sure to visit the Coco Beach Tanning Studio website to print out your 1st visit coupon for a free tan.(The website I should add plays some really obnoxious dance music on the home page, so turn your speakers down).
