First time eating here. I give it 5 stars because 1. Great atmosphere 2. Friendly service 3. Awesome food 4. Great prices. My husband ate the open faced steak sandwich and the chicken tomatoe soup, and I ate the philly cheese steak wrap and the soup. All I have to say is Delious!

I went here tonight with a large group of friends. There were a couple things I didn’t like, but one in particular. I understand when a restaurant automatically adds a gratuity to a large group. However, what I hate is when a restaurant does so without clearly telling you. Compounding this was the fact that we were told we had to order off the«short» menu, since we showed up unannounced with a large group. The short menu did not mention the automatic gratuity for large groups(I’m not sure if the full menu did or not). Anyway, this basically means that unless there is a major event happening(like a big hockey or football game on TV) you should go somewhere else if you have a big group and are going out on short notice. There were people in my group that did not realize the tip was added automatically, and so in essence they double tipped. The server, not surprisingly, did not say anything. I feel that this was dishonest. Also, someone in my group ordered the poppers, and I have to agree with her that for what she was paying the serving size was quite small. Not good value at all. My French Onion soup was OK. It was served piping hot, which was good, but the layers of bread and cheese were quite thin. The soup was not overpriced like the poppers though at least. Lastly, one good thing: my friends shared a pitcher of beer, and their glasses were brought to them chilled. I love when pubs do this. This is the primary reason I am giving two stars instead of one.
