Never having been to Halifax or even had a donair before, I don’t have a good comparison on mind. I checked this place out based on a recommendation from a friend, and I think he may have over hyped it a tad. Service was just a quick«What do you want?» type deal, which isn’t too appalling considering the type of restaurant it is, but a little enthusiasm would’ve been nice. It was very quick for my donair, probably less than 2 minutes, but the meat was dry and under seasoned. I could mostly only taste the sauces and veg. I got the regular size, which exceeded my expectations for portion size.

I had a craving for donair so I decided to give this place a try. I had a regular donair for $ 7+. The donair is small compared to the ones I’m used to in Vancouver. The meat is rather bland and not like the juicy meat in other donair places. The veggie is quite little. The sauce is nice, but that’s it. The pita was not opened up to put the toppings in and then wrapped up. The pita was used to wrap like a tissue around. Overall, I may not come back again.

Super fast lunch… I was on my way in less than 3 minutes! And, my friends were right! I had the chicken donair… delicious, delicate bread carefully wrapped around a delightfully seasoned chicken with fresh vegies and condiments.
