In the heart of kamloops, a stones throw down victoria street lies Mountain high pizza. Their slogan«get Fully satisfied, get mountain high» certainly promises a pizza trip of great proportions but I must say that this budding business leaves a lot left to be desired. The service was great! Very friendly and attentive however the pizza they produced was a little too similar those frozen pizza ghosts of my pizza past. I didn’t hate it but it was borderline bad. The sauce was like that really generic brushetta you get at bad Italian restaurant franchises. They claimed it was a pesto but it wasn’t. Perhaps they misplaced the herbs? Or put it to another use. The pizza dough was slightly raw, perhaps they should have baked for longer? The cheese seemed dry and not fresh. Like cheese that was in the freezer or sitting out exposed to air all day. All of the major components of this pizza had some big flaws hence the reason I cant go any higher on my rating…

Duuuuuuuuuuuude … Where’s my pizza? Mountain High’s slogan is «Get fully satisfied, get Mountain High!» If this doesn’t tell you enough what the culture of Mountain High Pizza is like, perhaps the mural on the wall(that seems like it would be more fitting on the side of an epic 70’s party van) would. All that aside, the pizza is okay, but for $ 20 or more per pie, you can’t help but feeling a little ripped off by the final product. The pizza almost reminded me of a frozen pizza, which made the feeling of dissatisfaction grow all the more. The«dudes» working behind the counter were pretty nice, but ultimately it was the value(or lack thereof) of the pizza that made this place a one-time visit. Dude, where’s my wallet?
