This place was excellent, and was about as «authentic Italian» as you could get, without being in Italy itself. The food was divine. If you’ve been to Italy, you know all about the thin-crusted pizzas and the generously saucy pasta dishes. Not one detail was spared and the portions were massively generous. I had the gnocchi with upgrades of mozzarella and garlic baked in, and the bruschetta to start. My girlfriend had a regular cheese pizza and garlic bread. We were both blown away by the quality of the food. The service isn’t quick, but if you’ve been out to eat anywhere in Europe, you know that it’s not about the speed; it’s about the experience. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. If owning a restaurant is all about creating a believable atmosphere, then the owners and workers at D’agostino all know exactly what they’re doing.
