The Art We Are

Tried the cappuccino with hubby and we find the coffee to be less flavourful and caffeinated than Café Motivo. This is one of the less tasty cappuccinos we have had in our lives. Likely not going to come back for the coffees.

Awesome, light, healthy food. Great coffee, cute quirky décor. I have the mexi pocket or soup and corn bread… so good! Perfect if u want a light lunch or snack.

The atmosphere here is great. The coffee is pretty great, too. And the shows I’ve seen here were great as well. The service is well, great. I haven’t had too much of the food here so I’m not going to comment on that part.

Great lunch spot for a quick soup salad or other healthy choice option. Pretty cosy seating inside and it’s usually busy for a weekday lunch. One of the best quick options downtown Kamloops.

Amazing food and atmosphere at this little café. It is a little higher on the price point but it could be justified by how fresh and clean the food tastes. I’ve tried their soups, salads, wraps as well as bakery items and they’re all fantastic!

Visiting kamloops from vancouver [where we have so amazing restaurants] stopped in here for lunch. The bread and soup were friggin phenomenal

I always enjoy the company of hipsters, hippies, and home-​made gifts while I sip my hot cocoa while reading one of AWA’s delightful magazines.

What isn’t there to love about the art we are? They have the best staff, most amazing home made soups daily, and probably the best haystacks I’ve ever had. Never disappointed!

This is the closest thing to a vegetarian restaurant we’re going to get in Kamloops. While they do serve some food with meat in it, the vast majority of things you can eat here are vegetarian or vegan friendly.
The Art We Are is my absolute favourite place to go when I’m looking for a bowl of hot soup on a cold day. All of their soups are made fresh daily and there are always three or four options to choose from. So far my favourite would have to be the potato-​broccoli-​cheddar soup but I would happily settle for any of their heavy vegetable ones as well. All of the soup is served with delicious homemade cornbread.
They also have a great selection of coffees and teas. My personal favourite would have to be their cherry tea latte. It’s a great place to grab a coffee with a friend.
I haven’t had the chance to check out any of their events yet but The Art We Are is also known for having some great live music and poetry slam nights. We are definitely lucky to have a place like this in Kamloops.

This might be an awesome coffee or tea shop (the menu looked thoughtful and the teas appeared tasty), but I came in for the veg-​friendly food. I got a falafel sandwich and the veggie lasagna to share with my partner. It was enough to sustain us, but the wrap could have used more sauce or dressing and the lasagna was barely warmer than room temp. At around $ 18 with tip, I was unimpressed. :/​Maybe their soup is good because they were all out of the four kinds featured today…
If it were daytime I’d come here to write or work and sip a hot drink. Try have wifi and they have live music sometimes.
Had been hoping for more here. I don’t recommend coming here for dinner, but if you need a snack to power through the hours between meals, give it a shot.

Great little coffee/​tea shop with local art and crafts for sale. Friendly and accommodating service. Great ‘cup’ of coffee in a full sized French press. They happily made fresh ice tea for this picky person who doesn’t like a sweet tea (which seems to be the only kind readily available). We will return tomorrow.

Delicious GF here and coffee is fantastic. Local art for sale here too. Priced very reasonable :)

The Art We Are has moved to beside Kelly O’s on Victoria Street! With direct street access this place will be even busier than before!
