Terry Fox Transit Station

This end of the line transit stop is at a great location — at the Kanata Centrum Mall, located at Terry Fox at the 417. Exiting the 96 gives you easy access to the Cinema and restaurants close by, and then of course the rest of the mall. Be careful, though! Apparently there are 3 different routes for the OC Transpo 96 route, and only 1 of those comes here. At least 1 of the other 2 services Stittsville. So if the front of the bus does not indicate «Terry Fox», be sure to check with the driver first if this is where you intend to go.
On the other hand, I wish OC Transpo serviced the west end better; and by this I mean the TRUE West End: Kanata, Stittsville, and Carp were incorporated into the city of Ottawa a number of years ago now. There is no bus service that I am aware of in Carp. I have to catch the Stittsville bus going down town.
Don’t get me wrong: I’m so glad that I can at least to that much! I guess I got spoiled when we lived in Kanata over 10 years ago, and the bus passed the front of my house, or the next one was an easy walk away!
