Great phở! Wonderful service Fair price have had phở in many places, for being here in Kelowna, is a gem! would happily have this on my regular visits for Phở if I was local.

Very friendly, rapid service, cute upstairs atmosphere with booths. The food was mediocre. First problem was that they served lemon and cilantro with the phở… At first I was like«Ok! This is a twist, but I’ll give it a shot!» and when the server overheard me say«cilantro!?» to my dining partner, she came over and explained that they were out of basil. This is where the problem lies… Running out of basil at a phở place? Not a good idea, seems unorganized to me. The sprouts were very wilted and soggy, we omitted to use them. The should never have served them like that. The phở tai was salty but not oily at all, and very average. The meat didn’t seem to be the raw sliced beef I usually expect to slowly simmer in the broth, before my eyes, but sadly pre-cooked and dry. I asked for extra vegetables and they gladly added heaps of fresh broccoli and napa with no additional cost! That’s a first for me. Service is deserving of 5 stars. My dining partner had the bun bo hue which tasted basically like my soup with hot sauce. Again, average. Prices are good.

Great place with great services! I ordered the iced coffee and that was absolutely amazing here. I also ordered dessert here which turned out quite good. I was hesitant to order desserts especially at Asian restaurants because they’re generally boring but at this restaurant their deep fried bananas and ice cream is so nicely plated and yummy tasting!!! Definitely would come back just for their desserts!

Being Vietnamese. I am particular about our traditional phở. They did really well, good flavors… But I have to say. The egg rolls were the best! Crispy, hot in temperature, and the sauces were spot on! My family owned restaurants for years… so I think im a pretty good critic of my homeland foods. Good job guys, I will definitely return on my next trip to kelowna

We were in town to visit our friends. I had a craving for some photo so we decided to hit up this place. Ambiance: 1980s décor. You-are-here-for-food ambiance. Staff service: Good. The server is prompt to answer any question we have and our water gets refilled frequently. Servers were quick to respond to our needs. Kitchen service: Ordered at 12:07 and our dishes are here by 12:13. Cleanliness: same level of cleanliness as other phở places. Taste: husband ordered the #30 Bun Bo Hue($ 12) with round noodles and I ordered #74 The 4 Colour Bowl($ 15). BBH: the bean sprouts came cooked, basil is fresh, lemon wedges instead of lime were provided. The broth has more spicy taste than flavour. The round noodles were over cooked and were way too soft. Meat amount: comes with 3 slices of Viet ham, some beef balls, some slices of beef. No innerds(disappointed on that one). 4 Colour bowl: Noodles were cooked nicely. The meats were slightly overcooked. Meat lacks the usual flavours. The spring rolls are nice and crunchy. The sauce provided was more salty than sweet/flavoured. Portions: BBH lacks meat compared to phở places in Vancouver. Noodles were about the same amount as other places. 4 colour bowl: Spring rolls are skinner than other phở places. Meat is less than average. Price: Expensive compared to Vancouver, but there are not too many competition in Kelowna. Price is reasonable for okanagan area. The BBH is ok in price, but the bun is way too expensive for what I get. Overall: Given there are not too many Phở choices here, I will likely come back. However, if I compare to phở places in Vancouver, this place will make it to one of my top 30.

Hands down the best phở I’ve ever had! Love that it’s in the town we live in & so close to our house. The service is amazing, everything is speedy & friendly. We go at least twice a month & the gals always remember our«usual», that doesn’t very many places!

Hard to say – wasn’t that hungry enough to step in, and when you’re charging $ 4.99 for Vietnamese iced coffee, when even in Vancouver, no one would dare to go to $ 4.25 lol. Plenty of good-value and tasty phở in Little Saigon back home. Albeit in a great location by Raudz and Keg.

Great food, great service. The Curry Chicken(extra spicy) Rocks! And the Phở is awesome! The service is always great! The décor is dated, but I’ll take great food and service over décor any day! If you are looking for Asian, this is your spot downtown!

Phở was ok but really tasted beefy, as in beef stock. Noodles however were cooked in advance since they were stuck together at the bottom of the bowl. Service was fast, and our waitress was nice. Place is clean but the décor is very 1980s. Prices were ok. There aren’t many phở places in Kelowna, this place is so-so.

When an Asian restaurant charges you for tea and it’s served lukewarm, they are off to a bad start. We started with salad rolls that were decent, nothing spectacular. The grilled pork I had was very good, with nice shrimp and a nicely fried egg. My wife’s chicken and shrimp would have been better if there was more than a few tiny pcs of chicken. The staff were very friendly; the place was clean, which was nice. Maybe we’ve been spoiled by the quality and quantity of Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver, but when you leave a place hungry after spending $ 40+ between 2 people, it’s not a good sign.

I have tried other Vietnamese places in the area, and Phở Soc Trang is by far the best that I have had. The staff is so friendly and amazing and you have to try the #26 but definitely get the small one if you are doing appetizers as it is pretty big! Extra bonus is that you can easily view the menu online and also place orders online. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that they don’t open until Noon on Sunday and the people need their Phở a bit earlier!
