It used to be sooo nice here, but over the past while the quality has really decreased. Its not bad enough that I won’t ever go here again, but its not the same as it once was… Its not so much the food that disappoints me now, but the quality of service is just … SOBAD. Its like pulling teeth trying to get a waitress to come by the table once you’ve been seated. Need a water or tea refill? Good luck! You’ll have to really make an effort to flag someone down or actually get up and walk over to them to get noticed…

Low quality fish, dingy interior and worst of all, poor rice. There is never an excuse for poor rice no matter what the price tag.

HORRIBLE! Dont eat here! Dont give them your business. Just left, and the waiter was incredibly rude. Also, the avocado roll I purchased was made with rotten — FULLYBROWN — avocado. See the pics. This is not good quality sushi. Wanted me to pay $ 0.50 for siracha on top of my sushi, but soy sauce is free? Sushi falls apart as soon as you touch it. Rancid taste. Used to be a gem. Sad to see the new owners have failed.

So Sad! Our family had been eating here for years and loved it. Unfortunately the original restaurant owners have retired and the new owners are not doing it justice. We called in our order and no one informed us of the new management or new menu. We ordered our usual items, miso soup, a tuna cone and a couple rolls. We said cone multiple times. Upon getting the take out home, NOTHING was correct, or even close! Instead of a caterpillar roll we got an Alaska, the cone was a weird roll, and the miso soup was just horrifically watered down. To add insult to injury, all the rolls were just different toppings on pathetic California rolls. Gag. So much artificial crab! We wish the original owners a happy retirement and we will be getting our sushi somewhere else from now on!

I used to come to Asakusa at least once a week. I visited for the first time in a a few months and I’m so disappointed. I think the ownership has changed and they have a new menu. Lots of the same items from before but they’ve been changed. Most significantly, too much sauce on everything and dried parsley sprinkled everywhere. The ingredients were not as fresh as they used to be, the popcorn roll just had frozen breaded scallops on top. Overall, the food is ok but no where near the quality as before. There are much better sushi spots elsewhere.

Love this restaurant. The sushi is made with really good quality ingredients and it shows. I have been to the restaurant for take out and eat in and its all good. I love love love the hot night roll and the new york roll. The caterpillar roll is also nice. The only thing I would recommend is ordering the rolls without sauce. I find the sauce to be overpowering. Definitely recommend this spot.

Very very tasty lunch special veggie roll. Good portions for a combo. I especially am glad they don’t force the vegetarian customers to endure a bento box to get a deal on some good veggie rolls. The only thing I found unsatisfactory was that the miso soup didn’t arrive until after the meal was served. But the miso soup is wonderfully low in salt. Thank you! Update. I decreased my rating after pulling out my leftovers. I had almost an entire serving of cucumber maki left over, and they wrapped it up for me. I usually find that restaurants will include chopsticks and some more ginger and soy sauce. Not only were those not in he bag, the sushi was thrown into the container and mixed into the wasabi from my plate. Oh well. Not my kind of idea of service.

Very nice! Although I am no sushi expert, I am doing my best to get more delicious experience in this subject… A few people recommended this little place so I gave it a go recently. Got a maki combo and salmon nigiri. Both very fresh, and interestingly the salmon here was darker than my other sushi haunt. When I questioned my more knowledgeable sushi friend-o about this, he said the salmon here was wild salmon, and the lighter coloured one would have been farmed salmon… good to know! Good service and quick, I will go back.
