Pier 1 Imports

I went in to this store and bought dining room chairs and other furniture. I spent $ 5000 in total. Later that week I happened to be in another location and got asked if I have used the coupons before. I called in to ask if they could work the coupons on my purchase and they said no. They are completely unknowledgeable including the manager.

Pier 1 has become so part of the landscape, I sometimes forget to check it when I am looking for home décor stuff. They have always been overpriced, and I rarely bought anything when I did go in.
Apparently pressure has been put on their prices by the likes of Home Sense (Winners) because I dropped a WAD on stuff in there yesterday, and it was all at perfectly acceptable prices.
(Ok except the super cute little asian lamp that I totally overpaid for)
The sales lady was super super helpful, and very informed. She figured out the perfect end table for me, noticed the reason I hadn’t found it was because there wasn’t one on display and dug one up for me.
I am a happy customer with a FABULOUS living room full of asian inspired lamps, tables and art on the walls.
