We get take-out here regularly. Food is great. We’ve eaten in a couple of times and also enjoyed it. Reasonably priced.

I had been to their previous location a couple of times and quite liked it. I’m happy to report that the food and service is still great. Our server was super friendly and answered all of our questions. The food was served quickly and they didn’t miss a thing. As for the quality, the salmon sashimi was melt in your mouth delicious and there are a ton of menu items to choose from.

The service here was definitely slower than other sushi places I’ve been. But the waitress double checked on what we ordered and went to check on the status of our food which was much appreciated. The hot food was definitely hot. Usually I can bite right in to tempura items but ours was quite hot. Our rolls were delicious but too forever. To the point where I was questioning if our sheet even made it to the people preparing the sushi rolls. When our rolls arrived they were sloppy(or at least the pieces on the end were. They had hardly any rice). I’m definitely willing to give this place another chance. Hopefully the service was just a fluke.

Great all you can eat. Beautiful fish tank to keep the kids busy. Lovely sashimi trays. Nice big restaurants with lots of seats. I have never waited here to be seated. Highly recommended!

Horrible customer service. I ordered take out and was told it would be ready in a certain amount of time. I got there after it was supposed to be ready and it wasnt. They were not apologetic at all. In fact when I called back to complain, the manager decided they were going to argue with me about the times they gave me. If this is what they consider quality service Im appauled. They were so rude and considering Im a regular you would assume they would want my continuous business. I suggest you go to the place down the street at fanshawe and wonderland they are way better service, food and prices.

I like this sushi restaurant and I was reluctant to go at first because of the reviews. The floors are cement so I thought that was a little strange and the chairs in the booth are not in the ground but the sushi is great! I recommend the spicy salmon sushi! The dessert is included in the all you can eat so that is great! I recommend the green tea ice cream because of its interesting flavour. I will be back again!

When I come to London to visit my sister and her family, we typically come here for lunch. Most of the time the food is great and hot and fresh however last week when we went for lunch it was extremely busy and they’re messing up everybody’s order including. We had to wait about 30 minutes before we received any hot food, but the sushi was always ready before anything else. It seems to me that they’re understaffed and not well prepared to deal with busy periods in the day(by the way this was on a Saturday afternoon; of course it’ll be busy!) The place itself is very nicely decorated and it is quite big but whenever they’re busy, their service is really poor and the food is cold and takes forever to arrive. I would consider coming back here but only when it is not busy; however I prefer to find better sushi joints in London.

Food was good for the most part. A lot of dishes needed a little something, also one dish was way to salty! Service was average, but overall good experience. Lots of choices. It cost the same amount as mandarin!

Wow really? So wish I could take you all back to California with me so we can all enjoy some real sushi. I was trying to look for a descent place in London for sushi, but left with no luck. Other than Wonder Sushi I haven’t found anything else come close to the real deal. As soon as my friend and I walked in we knew it wasn’t going to be good. 3 people chilled at the front desk talking amongst themselves not even looking up to greet us. Being the rude American I am… I greeted them and let them know I was here for the lunch buffet. As slow as some real Canadian maple syrup, the girl walked us to our table and walked away. Uhm? Who is taking our order? I found a little buzzer thingy on our table that you could push when ready, but I guess that system is still not set up. So I waived down the waitress walking around and asked for menus. I just picked random things from the menu and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, everything arrived late and cold. The tempura shrimp tasted like it came out of the freezer and dressed up in ketchup stuff. The sushi was rolled with so much rice I could barely taste the fish. I swear it was just as good as the stuff I get at Loblaw’s when I’m broke. No…15.99 lunch is definitely a rip-off! I got the bill 20 minutes after I had asked for it. I just left the money and walked out. I didn’t even have the patience to have them come around and refill my drink before I left. Yes I would rather walk out thirsty from the salty shrimp tempura than wait any longer. No-no no and no thank you Sushi Galore. Please leave town if you are not going to do sushi right.

I dined here a second time with a friend, and we were STARVING. I don’t know what the heck was going on with the wait staff, but it seemed like the left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing. It took over 15 minutes for anyone to come and pick up our order, and the only reason they came to our table at all was because I finally couldn’t wait any longer so I flagged them down! The best(aka. worst — if you understand sarcasm) part: the place was practically empty. It’s really too bad that I can’t give them a better rating, because they are a new business, and it’s a terrible shame to know that the only sushi restaurant in this part of town is a write-off.

Food is pretty good/not bad — particularly if you like westernized«sushi» involving lots of mayo, chicken, deep-fried everything, etc.(which we don’t), but all healthier/more authentic standards are there too. However, the service is another story altogether. Our first experience of Sushi Galore was take-out. As we live well outside London(closer to Ilderton) and had to drive 15 – 20 minutes to pick up dinner from this place, imagine our annoyance upon driving all the way back home, sitting down to eat — and discovering that they’d completely left out more than half our $ 50 order. Decided it was worth driving back in(even though the first part of our order would be soggy and any hot stuff would be stone cold by then). Our compensation for their mistake? Three business cards with«10% off» written in pen. The girl at the cash said she would have like to do more, but«couldn’t without the manager’s authorization» and no manager was working at the time. Hm. No extra food. No reduction in the bill. Strike one. Next time, to avoid the difficulties that take-out seemed to pose for Sushi Galore, we ate in. Upon presenting our«coupons,» our waitress(who turned out to be the manager) told us they could only be used one at a time, i.e. we’d have to eat their mediocre sushi 3 times just to get the full value of the crappy compensation we got for their mistake the first time around. Argued with her about it for a few minutes(probably not the time to be stingy since we’ve already had an unfortunate experience at your restaurant), going from politely confused to just plain shocked and annoyed that the restaurant cared THAT little about customer service/relations. Realized it was definitely not worth the fuss. Sigh. Strike two. Meal was fine. The place was kind of a madhouse and far from a relaxing dinner though(which is why we’d elected for the take-out in the first place): buttons to push for service, toddlers screaming and wandering around, and the food coming and leaving at warp speed. Go up to pay for our meal and are informed by the cash staff that the manager has now decided that our makeshift«coupons» are not valid at all. Excuse me? «Fine, this one is valid today,» says the girl, as though she’s doing us the most generous of favours by accepting it, «but it’s the last time. The other two won’t work.» «Oooookay well it really doesn’t matter as we definitely won’t be back here again,» I said. *Shrug* «Sorry,» said the staff member. Strike three. If you want great sushi in London, Ichiban(Wellington south) is just about the only place I can think of that has both great food and great service with any kind of consistency. We learned to make our own sushi and now have that far more often than we eat it at restaurants — cheaper, consistently good/fresh/sanitary, and no stingy/snarky«service» to deal with!
