When first entered store loved the items so I bought a pair of earings. I took the earings home and wore them a couple of days later only to have a part of my ear turn black — I purchased because they were surgical steel(retail over $ 100). I took them back along with the receipt and told them that I was not pleased with them and was told that they had to be shipped back to the company and I would be kept posted on whether there was a problem with the pair I received or have a new pair shipped after testing. Last option was my money back. Having not heard from them and not residing close by I ventured to the store again to get my money back. The staff are always having to call someone to make a decision, just give me my money. Quick to sell slow to rectify!!!

In all honestly I do LOVE this store on the main strip. They have unique pieces of jewellery and there is something in there for everyone. I have always ‘window shopped’ but recently my bf did buy me a delicate bracelet from here. The reason they get a 4 out of 5 is because of their shifty return policy, My bracelet snapped In half within a week and a half of having it(it was a beaded piece so the elastic band frayed). I called and asked them their policy and she said I could bring it back if I have the receipt. I don’t live across the street from Unionville so it took me within 2 weeks of buying it to go back to the store. When I got there the girl gave me a look and then made an excuse that she can only take it back within 14 days. I explained to her that I wasn’t told of that policy. She looked annoyed and basically said«well she should of told you on the phone but because she didn’t go ahead and pick something else». Uhhhh I don’t care if it broke in 2 weeks or within even a month — you should please your customer. I could understand if I had the bracelet for months on end and then it broke. But your jewellery shouldn’t be breaking in 1 week or even 14 days. Give me a break. I ended up getting a more expensive piece and now I realized she didn’t even give me a receipt for THIS one. So good luck to me if this was breaks — I’m SOL. I will still go to this store because their stuff is reasonable however maybe you should be more accommodating and rethink your policy when your jewellery is breaking within 2 weeks. Don’t give your customers a hard time.
