This location is OK. I usually stop by for some T-shirts every few months. You can get two for about $ 25. This is an outlet store, so the merchandise is usually older styles but the basics don’t really go out of style. One warning, I recommend trying the clothes on first. Some times the sizing is messed up. I bought an extra large sweatshirt and when I got home, realized is was a few sizes smaller. The staff is hit or miss at this location — some are great and others couldn’t care less. Although rarely sold at an outlet location, their bags are fantastic.

This is your standard Roots outlet store. Its usually not busy at all so you can browse to your heart’s content. They have good stock of all sizes & some bags for ladies as well. Lots of men’s clothing & children’s too. I came by to see if they had any organic cotton t-shirts but I couldn’t find any.

3.5 stars. When in Canada, shop at Roots and eat some poutine. While waiting for another banquet meal, we had some time to kill so we came here. This place is the size of a small Old Navy — but the largest(and most open) Roots store I’ve ever been in. Prices were pretty reasonable and they were running a great sale of spend over $ 100 and get $ 30 off. I combined my purchase with my friend so we both saved some cash. Assortment here was broader than what I found at the regular Roots. I have no shortage of comfortable workout /casual clothes — so I couldn’t justify buying more(no matter how soft those sweat pants felt) so I got a zip up hoodie for my sister. Sadly when I gave it back to her stateside, there was a small hole in it — and pretty much nothing we can do to get it exchanged. Guess it was my own fault for not inspecting it more carefully. Service was very nice and helpful — both the people helping with the dressing room and the cashier.

I actually really like roots. Their clothing is very practical and useful for day-to-day wear, especially in my line of work where wearing«nice» clothing would be useless because it would be covered in snot or dirt or saliva or food or, well, this list could go on and on and on and on. A Roots outlet store sounded even better. The day we went, they were having a promotion where every item that was already on sale was an extra 20% off. That’s pretty cool. So I ended up getting two fabric covered flip flops, which I totally love and wear all the time when I need some easy access shoes, and a women’s cadet hat. I don’t generally wear hats because I have a pretty big head for a petite person and hats are usually kind of tight on my head and give me a headache. But this one was really cute and fit my head just right. Plus, it didn’t make me look weird. That’s always a big plus. If I find myself back in the Toronto area, I’m totally going to be visiting the Roots outlet store again!
