Queues de Castor

Beavertails. Why, oh why have you not made your way to the US yet? From their Chocolat Et Banane (Chocolate + Banana) beavertail to their Pomme Et Cannelle (Apple Cinnamon) beavertail, you literally can’t go wrong with any of them. Those two are probably my personal favorites, but I will eat and devour each and every beavertail on the menu.
My only complaint? I’ve frequented this locale for years and years now and nothing killed me more than when I found out that they no longer serve their savory Beavertails. RIP that delicious pizza Beavertail and that equally delicious garlic Beavertail. Anyone down to petition for their return with me? Kthxxxxxxx.

I’m not sure why this hasn’t made it big yet in the US, but it’s likely better than most desserts on earth. I’ve had Beavertails before, but for some reason, this time I connected with my Beavertail. Maybe because it was late, hungry, and at a resort?
I tried the banana nutella Beavertail. It was good. Real good.
Then I tried the Avalanche with Skor, caramel, and cheesecake frosting. Orgasmic. I seriously continued to roll my eyes back into my head until this entire beavertail was done. It’s very very sweet, but for some reason, that creaminess and the gentle crunch of the fried dough allowed me to power through.
Lastly, I washed down the sugary goodness with hot cocoa and marshmallows.
Don’t think about the calories. Just do it.

Beavertails are the thing to try in Canada. There’s a reason why Canadians are so obsessed. It’s a long piece of fried dough topped with traditionally cinnamon and sugar, but you can switch up the toppings (Nutella, apple cinnamon, maple frosting, Nutella & bananas, etc.). We got the apple cinnamon one to split between 3. It made the perfect portion. It tasted like apple pie and wasn’t oversweet, which was good.

Il y a vraiment beaucoup de choix ce qui permet de satisfaire tous les goûts. J’ai pris une queue de castor banane chocolat et je la recommande a qui compte qui est fan de banane au chocolat !
Vous pouvez aussi acheter du salé comme des hot dog ou des frites, ce qui va entrainer mon choix de né pas mettre 5 étoiles.
Lorsqu’on rentre dans le restaurant il est tellement petit qu’on est serré et ça sent énormément la frite, la graisse. C’est pas le truc le plus agréable, alors un conseil, prenez à emporter !

BEAVER TAILS! Only reason is the beaver tails — they’re awesome. I got the PB beaver tail with a burger and while the burger was filling, you’re not going to get the typical burger with all the trimmings. Ground beef and fries come with the burger, and you can add some condiments on your own.
Definitely give the beaver tails a try, worth consideration. The stretched out fried pastry makes for a excellent snack/​dessert if you’re ever in the area.

Possibly one of my most favorite food items of all time! These are so delicious it is unbelievable! Nothing could be better after a day of skiing!

Okay dont judge. Im starving. What about a nice queue de castor? And another for my girlfriend for take out. Fried dought with suger and cinnamon. Wow great combo!

It’s 9:30 in the evening and with the blasting wind chill it’s about 12 degrees Fahrenheit. What would make me and a dozen other people wait in line at a takeout window? BEAVER TAIL!!! After dinner, drinking, or skiing you can’t go wrong with fried to order dough topped with a Nutella like spread. Sure you can get other toppings but the original is truly the best.

A whole wheat pastry stretched to the shape of a beaver tail, float cooked on oil (aka FRIED) and topped with chocolate hazelnut sauce. That is my TOP choice of this super delicious, crisp yet fluffy treat. I can eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner as long as I dont mind ingesting 1000 calories for each meal. But man, it’s soo worth it. Be ready for a big tasty mess on your hands. Be sure your hands are clean and all clothes are tucked in otherwise you will literally be wearing the chocolate sauce. Clean hands is so you can lick all the gooey goodness right off when you’re done. MMM MMM GOOD!
They also come in different versions such as cinnamon and sugar, sugar and lemon, maple butter, apple and cinnamon, banana and chocolate, triple trip and oreo cookies n’ cream.
