It is so adorable, this little village. Yes, it’s a little Disney, but a very well-done small-model Disney. It’s modeled after a small European skiing village, and it’s actually well done. In it’s idyllic setting at the base of a ski resort, I’ve only seen it in the summertime when it’s green. The little free gondola from the base of the village to the top is a nice way to survey the lay of the land, and what the little village has to offer. The top village is a large area where concerts can be held. It’s also where you can be taken up to additional activities, such as the summit or the Luge. It’s very picturesque. Make sure you take advantage of the combo packages, because they are very good deals for doing activities such as bike rental, luge, going up to the summit, lunch, mini-golf, pool, etc. There is an info area at the base area where you rent bikes.

Cool European Village feel. Decent selection of shops, restaurants and great hotels. Winter is very happening, Summer is very quiet! Word of caution***************BEWARE The Black flies will eat you silly around the second week of June and leave huge welts all over your body in the night time around dusk!

This place is so amazing. It has the modern touch of today with the feel of the past. The architecture is amazing. We did not get on the ski lift but that did not stop many of the others! It was a wonderful spot to be around Christmas time. The shops, the grounds, etc were extremely clean and the staff were so helpful. It is to your benefit to speak some French out of courtesy and respect for QC, Canada! We hope to visit here again soon. It was in this village that we first tried poutine!

The Village of Mont-Tremblant is a very interesting and worthwhile stop if you have an extra day or two in Montréal after a «meat and potatoes» stay in the city. While known as one of the best ski areas in northeastern North America, it is actually an all-season resort. I have only been here in autumn. It is reliably stunning. I think the ski experience here, done properly, might not be cheap. Everything in terms of lodging, restaurants, and shopping is top notch. Therefore, it’s just easier to come here in autumn when peak fall color is occurring and do your skiing back home, if back home offers skiing options. I guarantee you won’t be alone. Charter flights on wide bodied jets regularly come from Europe and Asia for Quebec fall colors tours, so the experience takes on an even more international dimension. I have had light meals here and have bought some Mont-Tremblant branded apparel and gifts. The great thing is that you can enjoy the village the way other people and I do, and base yourself in nearby Saint-Jovite, Sainte-Agathe, or Sainte-Adele, where it will be less expensive, less crowded, more quaint in that they’re just local towns, and you’ll have access to good eating options as well as being a quick car ride away from the Village of Mont-Tremblant. Also, driving around this general region, in all directions, will put you on many scenic byways with small villages, forests, lakes, streams, and even some covered bridges. The Village of Mont-Tremblant is an inspiring place because it is unique, well planned, and has a lot of charm. I recommend that a visit to Quebec includes a trip to the Laurentians and a visit to this great little village at the base of this famed ski resort.

If Disneyland needed to model for a ski resort village it would be hard to find a better template than Mont Tremblant Village… pristine with loads of shops and restaurants selling the exact same thing… very picturesque and very charming.
