The food and service in this restaurant is terrible and falsely advertised. The macaroni and cheese on the children’s menu says homemade baked macaroni and cheese. I guess they put the Kraft dinner in the oven to keep it warm after making it? I ordered a chicken burger expecting a piece of grilled chicken and instead received a fried chicken burger patty obviously out of a frozen box. I asked if the Cajun fries were spicy and I was told they were just regular fries. This place is fast food with non-fast food pricing.

Stopped by here for drinks and food after skiing. It was super busy but it didn’t take too long to be seated. Our waitress was friendly but the food was sub-par. Poutine — too salty. Ribs — meat didn’t exactly ‘fall off the bone’ but overall decent Sangria — yummy! We also shared fries and got their voodoo sauce which was pretty weak for a sauce named voodoo. Don’t expect amazing food but it’s definitely a fun place to go in the village with a large group.

Don’t be fooled by the other reviews, Unilocal in Mont-Tremblant seems to be skewed highly toward negative experiences but it’s an improbability that all the restaurants in the village could be as consistently bad as reviewers would have you believe. This is not a 2⁄5 star restaurant. The service was great and the booth with the curtains was intimate. We had a shrimp appetizer which was tasty. Then I had a burger with fried gouda, it was very good but the meat was just average. I also had lobster mac and cheese… it was also very good. Don’t believe the food critics.

Our favorite food in the village. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a Po-Boy and Bourbon Burger. Both options were delicious and cooked to our liking. The soup was excellent as well. If we would have eaten here first, there would have been a meal repeat.

Should have checked the reviews BEFORE I went to this place with my wife! Poor quality food(wings, sliders, pulled pork). Presentation was average. Our server went missing so that I had to go to the bar to order a second drink. Everything was overpriced. Avoid this place at all costs. I couldn’t find anything to recommend about this place.

This is by far the worst place to eat in the village. We went here right after zip lining and only ordered appetizers. Spinach and artichoke dip — chips were ok, but dip was watery and tasteless Veggies and dip — vegetables were not fresh at all. I think they bought them in the store and put them in the fridge for two weeks before serving them. Wings — these were ok, but not what we expected. They were basically like breaded chicken fingers with bones and sauce on the side. Service was decent, but this place is way overpriced!

Order shrimp creole got some defrosted shrimps with a can of tomato sauce and dry rice with no flavor. First time in my life had to send back a plate to get the blacken fish. And got a fish that wasn’t well cooked. Sangria taste like water down wine with sliced fruits. Over price for worst then hospital food. Never again

Absolutely horrid. Was that marinara sauce on the nachos? There is no such thing as a sausage po boy. Luckily it came out cold and we had reason to return it.

The Cajun chicken is a dish you have to order the rub in the the chicken is flavorful and it leaves a spicy tingle in your mouth. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is cuz the service is horrible I had to ask to refill my water not once, not twice but three times.

We stopped in for drinks one night and it didn’t take long to realize why it was mostly empty. The bartender was very standoffish when we told him we were just ordering drinks. The atmosphere was rather quiet which is probably why all of the staff were hanging around the bar talking even while we tried to get someone’s attention to order another drink. We finally gave up and decided to try to get the check and head out. We each had one beer, yet the bartender seemed very upset that we didn’t tip him a large amount. It’s a shame because the restaurant looks like it has a nice touch to it.

This is not a very good restaurant at all. The service was fine. My wife ordered French Onion soup with came with almost no cheese. I ordered Steak Frites which was supposed to be 8 ounce strip loing and spicy cajun fries. The steak was a thin piece o of meat that reminded me of the Ponderosa and their $ 5.99 steaks. The french fries were soggy and warm. The presentation was just horrible. We will never go back. New management is needed big time. Almost forgot to mention that the table beside us had to send their food back.

This place does not belong in the cute village of Mont Tremblant. The interior décor is tacky and the management is unconcerned about customers. After dinner, upon exiting the restaurant, I stood up to find GUM all over my brand new pants. It turns out the people who work here don’t clean gum off from under the tables. After speaking to the manager, he did nothing but stare at me. He didn’t even offer to get a warm cloth until about 5 minutes of me complaining and explaining how unacceptable this is. Absolutely no compensation for our meal was given. Not even a drink. Just a shoulder shrug and dumb look from the manager. Don’t go here unless you want to walk out with disappointment and a ruined wardrobe. There are way too many other nice places at Mont Tremblant than this crap-hole.

This is the worst place in the village. The service was unprofessional, and the food is simply horrible! I ordered clam chowder and what I got was cheap canned fish dipped i mash potatoes. My bf got a dozen of chicken wings… Or what was supposed to be chicken wings… What we got tasted more like deep fried bread crumbs… with no chicken inside. That’s a shame this place is still open.

Came here for a family reunion in the 2nd last weekend of August. Everything in Tremblant seems a bit strange and a wee bit overpriced. I had the Po’ Boy beef sandwich. was just okay… We sat inside and I wanted to sit in one of the tastefully appointed french brothel booths with red curtains, but was overruled and we sat in a normal table instead.

Unilocal doesn’t rate this place well, but took a chance. Excellent food. Anything spicy at this place tastes good. Had the Po’Boy au poisson noirci. Excellent fish sandwich. Would go there once again. Great place good service. Will not disappoint.

Recall this place as being better in past years. Had shrimp gumbo. Several large, properly cooked shrimp dwelled within. White rice in the bottom of the bowl was something other than fresh. The sauce was the shocker… Swear to you, tomato paste with a couple of sautéed onions and green peppers stirred in. Edible, but ho my, what an embarrassment for whoever prepared it. Served with garlic bread that was quite tasty. My companions had burgers. Neither finished theirs. Crummy meat, I believe. Service was fine.

Gord and I had lunch today at Fat Mardi’s. I ordered the Louisiana Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes. It arrived with fries instead … cold fries :(So I reminded our server that I’d ordered mashed potatoes. So he brought me a bowl of them. They were also cold so I asked him to have them microwaved, which he did. They tasted funny so I didn’t eat much of them(and I love love love mashed potatoes!). The chicken was hot but really really really really salty. I eat very little salt. Gord does and he found the chicken too salty. So I didn’t eat much of my meal. What a waste of $ 21! Gord ordered fish and chips. The fish was good but his fries were also cold :( I didn’t eat much of my meal and was still hungry so ordered a piece of chocolate cake. It was okay … really sweet. A disappointing experience for me. I doubt I’d go back when/if I go to Mont Tremblant.

Mardi Gras is at the base of Mont Tremblant and has a Giant Wooden porch chair in front with its name on it. The waitress is a little slow but it’s usually one girl doing everything. I ordered a green salad with grilled shrimp. It was okay(salads are 10 – 15 $ add chicken or shrimp 5 $ extra) the shrimp was grilled on a skewer so had a char flav. My sister got the Hamburger Burger Lafitte and fries(12 $). Its lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. Add cheese or bacon 2 $ extra. She thought it was good, the fries weren’t that great and I got to try them. My guess is its more a tourist spot then to make a lot of items from scratch and care. With all the other restaurants nearby to try why come back?

It wasn’t THAT bad when we came. 1 star!!? This place is easily walkable from the Tremblant mountain. With a menu on the front, we saw several delicious-looking items so we entered. We were seated right away, there was hardly anyone there. Our waitress was amazing(10 stars for her), she was always around whenever we need and happily check up on us every now and then. I had the Club Cajun Po’Boy $ 13.99: chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and mayonnaise. Came with lots and lots of fries. The mayonnaise came in those little ketchup packets, so you just squeeze them in(how ghetto) but the food was still pretty good. Chicken was terribly dry though… I think mayonnaise made the difference. My beloved partner had the Steak Po’Boy $ 16.99: roasted beef, lettuce, roasted peppers. His was pretty okay. The steak was okay, the sauce was okay. The price is definitely not okay for that quality of food, but I didn’t HATE coming here. The waitress was very nice. I believe we paid $ 40 for this meal… okay yeah, not worth it. But we did have a great window seat and I took a nice Tremblant village picture.
