Late dinner, hubby was craving nachos. This was the best rated in Tremblant village. Let’s try it. Bottom /lower level– casual dive bar/restaurant. My husband remember this place from our visit in 2013 and was not excited to eat the nachos. So we headed upstairs. Wow, such a difference in atmosphere! The upstairs was a high end steakhouse, white linen table cloths, modern décor, nice jazz — remix playing to set the mood, open grill/kitchen. Perfect. You usually need a reservation, obviously we Did not have one of those! We sat at the ultra trendy bar, greeted by the bartender, who was nice, but she had just a bit of a ‘tude– maybe it was a bad night, but you could feel her ‘not happy to be working’ attitude. That is until her buddies came in and started cheering her and the rest of the staff up with their good times and shots! The steak is OUTRAGEOUSLY priced– I think 39 $ for a 6oz filet, then the next one was near $ 64. Steak only, no sides. We just needed a snack, so we ordered Duck wings– wow these were tasty, sweet, tangy sauce with crisp wings perfectly cooked French onion soup– standard, nothing amazing Grilled asparagus(10 $) perfectly cooked with a hint of garlic Oysters Rockefeller —(18 $) 3, horrible. They did not sear/burn off the Pernod which gave it an alcohol-y flavor. Small oysters, not great spinach(frozen not fresh) The steak looked amazing, but be ready to drop a few hundred here.

Service was bad and the food was cold. Not sure how the kitchen can’t cook a hot dog right or make pouting properly.

The food was really unappealing. I ordered a NY strip steak, and asked for it rare. It came out completely well done, with cold French fries. The macaroni and cheese, also cold, had literally Zero flavor. Perhaps this place is good for après ski, as the location really is fantastic, but the food was truly bad.

Very noisy(it does advertise as a bar tho), food was the worst I had in the tremblant ski area. Got Mac & cheese(husband + 2 kids) & breakfast poutine. Thought all would be safe choices. Mac & cheese was blah & poutine not too great, I believe I got a slight case of food poisoning afterward. Not inexpensive, not worth the $.

Great casual restaurant in the middle of the Tremblant resort. Its kids friendly, good food. We ate there twice, the second time service was a little bit slow. Kids played outside until the food was served. We enjoyed eating there, clean and friendly service.

Terrible service and food was nothing special! Very sad if the side dishes taste better than the main dish!

Mont Tremblant is beautiful and wish I can say same thing about the food here as well. Ambiance and service is great but the food is mediocre.

1 star for its nice ambiance but thats about it. Food not great and when we brought it to the attention of the waiter he tried to tell us thats the proper way to eat it. I am pretty sure that the way to eat it is how I ordered it(i.e. medium well vs rare). We ordered a NY Steak and the pasta dish. Both were not high in flavor. Au Gratin potatoes for the side as well as the Bacon Onion rings. Potatoes again lacked flavor. The Onion rings were pretty good but you only received 3 on a plate. Would not recommend this as a destination while on vacation. Good thing I ordered wine to make it all better. Highly over rated and disappointing. Overall: Don’t waste your time(1.5 hours for 2 people) or your money(over $ 100).

Mediocre pub food. Not sure if you can find anything better in the area given the touristic nature if you’ve already tried Coco Pazzo! I had the chicken soup bowl which was too creamy. Caesar salad was ok! I ordered grilled chicken on top of my salad and it was chewy. Dad got a pizza, the base was ketchup. The saddest part about it was that this was our Christmas eve dinner.

Totally okay for what it is, basically an Applebee’s or Chili’s. The food was at that level and the service was quick. We had the onion soup in a bread bowl, small Cesar salad, and club sandwich with sweet potato fries and a side of vegetables. Putting onion soup in a bread bowl is a great idea and being from California I’d never seen that before, but the taste of the soup itself was just okay. Sandwich was very basic and the side of vegetables included two pieces of zucchini and a lot of carrots. The sweet potato were good, hard to mess that up. Really everything was just okay with no big flavor or creativity, but as I said on par with an Applebee’s. Dinner for two with no alcohol still totaled $ 50 after tip. With the nearby options being limited it got the job done, just know what you’re getting.

Delicious steak. Don’t miss Filet Mignon La Forge which was a filet topped with foie gras.

Solid pub food and decent prices. The smoked meat pizza was a winner for sure. The beer selections are limited, but the service was good.

taste ok but no service. No welcome smile, no salt no pepper no ketchup, we grab it by ourselves! Even for the bill, we went to the bar to ask for it. And the tips is mandatory ! C’mon, respect ur customer!

My order: steak with fries. Date has grilled salmon on cedar plank. Both dishes were excellent. The food here is good and solid. Not outstanding but better than average. The prices are reflective of being in Mont Tremblant. Service was ok. The waitress I had was good overall. Not 5 star service. La Forge is popular for its outdoor patio which is also true of the other restos nearby. Expect to tip 15% or more or else you will get looks or perhaps spoken to… I always tip generously so I had no complaints here. If you are in Mont Tremblant and have no clue where to eat, La Forge is a good option. Food is similar to a Jack Astors FYI. 4 **** stars.

A busy bar in a prime location, you likely won’t be thrilled after dining here, but you won’t be disappointed either. Après-ski. That’s clearly La Forge’s strength. With a warn décor and an expansive liquor menu, it’s easy to see that this restaurant thrives in the Tremblant village. While staying in the village, my family chose to eat here. Our meals were ok, and the $ 12 mac-and-cheese that my daughter ordered was tasty, my pulled pork was dry, and overall, nothing memorable. The view and location of La Forge however are memorable. We sat at a window and watched as people finished their last few runs of the day while recounting our own. This, combined with the cold beer and fast service made this a great one-time stop during our Tremblant vacation.

It’s in such a prime spot in a touristy area that I didn’t think there was any way La Forge had any decent food. I’m happy to say that I was very wrong. After several days in Tremblant, many people in our group raved about La Forge and a few of us finally went. Beautiful space, great for apres ski, with several floors. We were seated upstairs, had nice and efficient service. I split the French onion soup bread bowl and the poutine. Being an American, I’m not well acquainted with poutine and have had it only once before. I liked this one better. However, the star was the bread bowl. I was skeptical, as there’s supposed to be a bowl of onions in broth, a croûton, and mounds of cheese on top. This, however, while not traditional onion soup, was excellent. There were more onions than broth(not complaining) and the bread bowl acted as the croûton itself. I can’t recommend it enough. I wish I hadn’t waited till the last day to eat at La Forge. Some say the prices are a little higher there than the other places, but I didn’t notice too much. It’s all relatively pricey anyway, but I don’t mind spending the money on food I will enjoy and won’t regret. GOHERE.

Ate here for dinner on Saturday. I got the pulled pork sandwich with Poutine(add $ 5 upgrade) the place was not bad but the food was nothing special. Try a different place. Food: 2/5, pulled pork had a nice taste but kind of lukewarm and the Poutine reminded me of Ontario Poutine. Service: 1/5, the waitress was not attentive at all. We got our food quite late and my water was never refilled. Ambience: 3/5, this was the only good thing about this place but it comes with just being in Tremblant. Price: 2/5, about $ 25 per person without drinks. I understand the tourist surcharge but the food didn’t measure up.

I would have given this place all 5 stars, but… Kobe ribeye was outstanding, the best cut that I have eaten to date. Their beef tar-tar was juicy and delicious. I like how they decorated the plate– very creative. Service was outstanding! However, the sauteed mushrooms were atrocious. Very bland. I had to use salt to make them eadible. Every chef should know to use one of the most essential ingredients which is salt. Other than that — great place!

After a ski day, I actually don’t like visiting fancy/expensive restaurants. I already paid $ 82 for Mont Tremblant’s day ticket, it hurts to pay for $ 30+(per person) dinners! I just want some cheap, good food. Unfortunately at Restaurant La Forge, the prices are quite steep. But«beer battered scallops» sounded amazing so we thought, «Yeah, we won’t do this again until next year so…» We got: — Beer battered scallops(so fresh and juicy! Very good scallops) — Crocodile poutine(pretty good, but not a lot of meet. Still a good poutine dish) + beers Service was a little slow because there weren’t that many people here(late March, weekday). We sat downstairs by the way, not the upstairs steakhouse. We sat by the window and it was quite an intimate table –dim lighting, quiet restaurant(one other group at the bar). Good food, likely come back again!
