The poutine really hit the spot after a day on the slopes. The portions are huge and will be good for two people for an apres ski snack. There’s a large variety of toppings to choose from to satisfy the vegetarian or the meat lover.

It’s basic Poutine. Nothing out if this world, but sure to please those who have never tried our Poutine gastronomy. The French fries were ordinary and so was the sauce. Set expectations accordingly.

The poutine was very disappointing. I ordered the vegetarian poutine without cheese, and when I sat down, I realized there were no peas on it, as there should have been. I went back to the counter and the man said«oh yeah we’re out of peas.» Thanks for telling me when I was ordering. The poutine itself was also very salty and the fries were way to overcooked. My brother had the traditional poutine and said it was not as good as the poutine at other Smokes. In addition, the door was broken and wouldn’t close properly, so the restaurant was absolutely freezing. I got in trouble from my family for suggesting we come here because we all hated it.

Good for a quick snack for two. Pricey, but their poutine will fill you up right enough to keep skiing. Me and my bf shared cheeseburger poutine($ 12), and it was about right. Place is tiny, but you can always get a takeout.

If you want salty, greasy poutine. This is the place to go. Overwhelming and crazy choices… fajita poutine or cheeseburger!!! Yes to both. I have to admit its kind of on the expensive side. 13 $ for one… but at least the portions are big and you will definetly be satisfied. Go to a bar… then come here. Great stuff.

Pros: they had vegetarian poutine!, fast service Cons: soggy fries, kind of expensive(which is to be expected given the area)

Tasty poutines! Try Bacon Poutine. The large size is really large — -just keep that in mind. Gravy and cheese was solid. And french fries are fresh fro m the potatoes.

Best spot to eat after a long day on the slopes! I was really turned off by the attitude of the employees. My singles & $ 5 bills were inspected and questioned(???) as counterfeit and on our second visit we stood in the restaurant for a full 5 minutes before an employee appeared. However, the food was good! Poutine for the masses. A tad salty but otherwise good. I love the whole concept of the chain.

This was my first time trying poutine. I mean, where else do you get authentic poutine other than Canada? I didn’t know if I liked the idea of cheese curd, gravy, and fries(it sounds disgusting), but the combination was really good. Try the classic one– don’t add other stuff to it. It’s good as it is. And it’s very, very addicting.

I’ve had Smokes before and I think this one is a bit subpar. The hotdog on our poutine was wrinkly and kind of dry. The prices are a bit steep — you can get poutine in other restaurants around the village for less. The location is teeny tiny and honestly feels more like a takeout joint than anything else. Skip and try somewhere else!

poutine on steroids! i was at mt tremblant this past wkend for a yoga festival and… so much for eating clean with poutine! i had the arc de angel(i think, errthing was in french in quebec!!) and it was poutine with veggie gravy(so good) topped with white cheese cubes, nacho cheese sauce, guac, AND siracha(i skipped the sour cream). i was never a fan of soggy fries until smokes poutine! the only thing i would complain about is the ventilation… the fryer is constantly frying and it was a bit overwhelmingly stuffy and greasy indoors… lol. good thing the poutine was delicious :) needless to say i was able to finish ½ the box… :(

Whenever I am in Quebec I always make it a point to try as much poutine as possible. I had the pleasure to be in Mont tremblant during the Ironman weekend in both 2013 and 2014. This is my first time I had smokes pountine. The fries were not as crunchy as I would like. The flavor was a little burned. The gravy was a bit bland. Not a fan.

I’m a fan for sure. BUT they get 5 stars for offering veggie gravy and toppings. Way to recognize your patrons in this day and age. I thought I’d have to give up poutine since giving up meat last year. Luckily, they had veggie gravy, mushrooms, caramelized onions, and peas! YES!!! My husband enjoyed his topped with smoked meat, a little mustard and extra gravy. They also support the athletes. They served fresh poutine from their food truck to all the Ironman athletes after the finish line. Way to go, Smokes!

This was our first poutine experience! It was absolutely amazing. It was around Christmas and it was very cold outside and so we definitely needed to warm up. Being hungry and cold is an awesome combination before poutine. It was SODELICIOUS. We each ordered a different type. The cheese curds were so fresh and tasty as were the fries and all the toppings. The staff are super helpful and friendly. I had the veggie nacho poutine and I loved it! All the toppings were super fresh and yummy. I hope to return very soon!

What do you do when you first arrive in Mont Tremblant Pedestrian Village, settle in, realize your tummy is grumbling and it’s 11PM??? Go to Smoke’s Poutine, duh! The two guys who manned the shop were helpful, funny, and super duper nice. Siracha, gravy, cheese curds, fries, and guac in the Arc en Ciel. It gets no better than this late at night. $ 11 bucks a pop for the fancy and $ 5 for the not so fancy. Great drunk fries.

Who wouldn’t want poutine in the great land of Quebec? This is the perfect(and fatty) way to end off your night at the slopes, and because the weather was freezing cold, we opted to have poutine instead of real dinner(and yes, it WAS filling enough). We ordered 4 different types of poutine and they were all FANTASTIC and I would highly recommend any of the flavors: 1. Arc En Ciel(cheese sauce, guacamole, sriracha, sour cream) — who knew just a few simple sauces could change how a poutine is? Slight bit of heat from the sriracha but really delicious. It sort of tasted like a quesadilla in poutine form. 2. Hogfest(bacon, onions, sausage, mushrooms) — pretty much everything MEAT, sort of like a meat lover’s pizza in terms of taste. Every bite of this poutine is like carnivore heaven. 3. Deluxe Vegetarian(green peas, onions, mushrooms, cheese) — Really good, even though you might have found the peas random, it somehow just WORKS. 4. Montréal(Montréal smoked meat, mustard, pickle) — Pretty much the cream of the crop, the way the smoked meat and mustard come together is an absolute classic — it almost tastes like eating a smoked meat sandwich in poutine form. I would order(and devour) any of the above choices in a heartbeat again. They were all so delicious and satisfying. If I had to choose the best of the best, then perhaps Montréal is the way to go. Only thing is price is jacked up being a tourist location, with all these deluxe poutines being $ 9.50-$ 11.50 rather than the normal $ 8 in other locations.

Passed by at night for some good ol’ drunchies with my friend and I ordered the sausage poutine. Service was friendly, fast, and the portion was huge(I didn’t seem to get a choice between a regular or large, like we do here in the city).

Great Poutine! This place is the real deal… made to order with more varieties than a Baskin Robbins. If you are with a friend and the two if you can agree on the same Poutine… I recommend sharing a large… the best meal value for two on the mountain. If you’re at the base of the lifts, hop on the Cabriolet that takes you to the bottom of the village… look to your right and presto you are in Poutine heaven!

Fun. «should see’ for tourists. Many varieties of poutine. But…not the best tasting poutine, especially for poutine aficionados. Fries were a bit firm, sauce ok only. So: Fun to eat, but better poutine exists.

For brunch today, Sister Sarah and I went to Smoke’s Poutinerie. It was supposed to open at 11am … there was a bit of a line-up when they opened the doors just after 11am. They have lots of varieties of poutine. We haven’t seen Pop Shoppe in many years so Sister Sarah had to have a root beer. Sister Sarah had the traditional vegetarian poutine. I’m not a fan of poutine so just had fries and gravy. It was a filling way to start the day. A small order is a lot of fries. We sat inside and ate. It was really warm in there … but it was better than eating outside in the hot sun on a bench.
