artisanal sausage shop on the north end of marché jean-​talon where they share a locale with the duck vendor.
like mentioned, they do artisanal sausage. some very interesting flavor combination in a sausage. i’ve heard and saw their poutine sausage but its not something they are offering yet. instead, i settle with some jamaican sausage and kraft diner sausage (the mac n cheese).
while the jamaican was flavorful but very subtle in its spicyness, the mac n cheese was very underwhelming. you did get the iconic kraft diner taste but somehow, it felt way too odd and didn’t really add anything good to the sausage. i had a hard time enjoying it.
i appreciate different flavor combo, the odd ones but if it doesn’t add anything substantial or makes you enjoy it, its disappointing.
on top of that, its not cheap sausage so price do factor in but it stays affordable. mac n cheese didn’t do it for me, the jamaican could use more heat but otherwise, its very decent sausage. would i buy more of it? hard to say because there’s some very good sausage out there
