This teashop is pretty much in the basement of my building and I walked by every day, looking in longingly at the comfy cozy looking pillow seats, but alas, I had the pup in tow. The owner of the shop let me know that he’s seen the dog often and that of course he is welcome in the shop, so today, I finally came in for some tea and a pastry. Let me just say that this is hands down, no contest, THE best chai latte I have ever had in my life, OMG I didn’t want it to end! It takes time to make as ingredients are ground up right in front of your eyes and slowly heated up, but trust me, it is so worth the wait and the aroma hits you in delicious waves. Next time, I try the matcha tea! I’m totally hooked on this place now. Nice and quiet and open until 9pm during the week, so come here to work or to study and get cozy. Music isn’t loud and the windows are huge, so it’s nice and full of natural light goodness. Bonus: they have some cool boardgames to play, YAY!

Super cute little spot to study or to have some tea! They have a large variety of teas that are amazing! The way they organize their teas and stuff is super neat and clean. I want to come back to try out their lunch box as well! Apparently they change their food theme every while or so! Services are friendly too :)

tea room that opened last fall at the end of mile-ex just before getting to parc-ex on jean-talon. the place is spacious and very minimalist. tables make up the room with couches at the back wall which is the best seating as you can find pillows. now, for tea. it is THE best cup of tea i have ever drank in my entire life! now, mind you, i don’t drink that much tea and there’s some really good ones i had but this, oh my. each cup/pot is made with fresh ingredients. what do you mean by fresh? they’ll chop every ingredients to order therefore you do taste not only the freshness but the complexity and harmony of each tea. the only downside to making everything from scratch is wait time but between you and me, when one goes for tea, one is looking to slow down and relax. other than tea, they do coffee too and food. for food, they have tiffin boxes during lunch hour. while i got there too late, i did asked about it and each week, they have a thematic so one week it could be indian, next one korean and so. price wise, pretty inexpensive for quality tea. cost me less than $ 5 for a teapot which gave me about 4 cups. in summary, crazy hidden gem

The teas here are amazing! You can see them cutting up the the raw materials for the Chai latté. I had their Black Tea/Litchi mix and it was great! I’ll be back!
