One of the best places in queensborough for sushi Not great but decent rolls and Fresh fish If you are in the area this is definitely the place to go for sushi

Decent sushi, the salmon was very fresh, miso soup was bland, service kind of slow even though the place was empty, very quiet atmosphere,

Came here for lunch and had only half an hour to spare. We were not greeted nor were we seated. We had to ask and they told us to pick a seat which didn’t give us much choice since there were only two seats at the bar. Much like the other restaurants at Queensborough landing, this place is small with limited of seats. We quickly went through the menu and ordered the crazy roll, yam roll, dynamite roll and the tuna tataki. While we were sitting there chatting and waiting for our food I noticed how disgusting the avocado looked and glanced at the menu to make sure none of our rolls had avocados in them. The were pre-sliced and was turning brown. Not very appetizing. It didn’t take too long for our orders to come in. The yam roll and dynamite roll came first with the tuna tataki and the crazy roll took a tad bit longer. We dug in since we had limited amount of time before heading back to the office. Oh my God… Worst sushi I’ve had ever! T&T makes better sushi than this place. There was definitely something wrong with the texture of the rice and the tempura inside our rolls were cold, soft and soggy. No crunch whatsoever. The sauce wasn’t good and I just wanted to add wasabi to everything. The tuna tataki was chilled. Points for that. Other than it was chilled, it didn’t taste fresh and the dipping sauce had no taste. Will not go here again. Do not recommend!

I been here a few times, I always ordered the rolls and Gyoza. I never tried the noodle soup so I don’t know.

My only con about this place is that the consistency of their rice is really soft and mushy. The quality is mediocre.

Stopped here for a quick takeout lunch. The lady behind the counter was really rude, no hello, no thank you, nothing. Food is ok, but there are plenty of other sushi places that provide bigger portions and are less expensive. Will not come back.

This is not food-court sushi, but it’s not Toshi either. It’s somewhere in between. That said, I love the server in there. She’s efficient, smart(she always adds some quip when she serves us that makes us smile), and doesn’t leave you hanging — she’s attentive to where you are, particularly if you’re on a work lunch. They also have some pretty great lunch specials, if you happen to be in the area.

One of my worst sushi experiences. Prices are good, but the quality is quite poor. Rice was cold and when I ordered the dynamite roll the tempura prawn was cold as well. Needs to be fresher.

I go to this restaurant frequently as I work nearby. Sushi is OK, not the best but not the worst. However, 3 times now I’ve ordered spicy agedashi tofu, only to get back to work to find out that the spicy was left out. I really can’t stand regular flavor. And, any time I order it is not busy so no real excuse to mess up my order. I’m not impressed.

The teriyaki beef bento box is at good price. The beef is rich. Better than Togo sushi.

Don’t get the noodle soup. 2 words: small and flavourless. Totally wasn’t worth the $ 8 and they force you to tip, this food doesn’t deserve a tip. As I was leaving I noticed that everyone else seemed to have received a complementary hot tea. WHATABOUTME? Ugh so disappointed and I didn’t have time to argue since I was on my break so I just left, and I definitely won’t be back.

It’s like that slightly unattractive person in the high school yearbook; you don’t remember the name and you don’t remember the face. So very, very, very, very average.

A bit pricey for the quality. Sashimi not too fresh, especially the Tuna. Rolls weren’t too bad. Ordered the bento box… I went home full enough

Great affordable sushi. Rolls are crisp(not soggy) and they have a great lunch special.

Dime a dozen sushi. First experience was take out for the office. It cost a small fortune for the 6 of us. Though not exactly fair to compare to our previous supplier, Samurai Sushi, the rolls were small and lacked spunk. Second time was dine-in. Ordered the beef udon noodle soup. Was pricey for the quality I received. The beef was definitely nuked, dry, and lacked flavour. Same for the noodles and broth. Only finished out of hunger.

I love me some sushi as my fiancé will attest too and today I was in a «I must have sushi’s» kind of dinner. As we were in Queensborough doing some running around before picking the hounds up from the doggy salon we decided to stop here. I was a little disappointed. The food wasn’t too bad but it wasn’t anything to write home about. We had some gyoza, roll combo a(cali roll/avocado roll/yam tempura roll), agedashi tofu and some miso soup. The miso soup was almost too watery, if that makes sense and the rolls, although were good, weren’t up to my standards. Another thing that disappointed me was the limited menu. I wasn’t blown away with what they had to offer and honestly almost left but I really needed a Sushi fix. In the future, if I have a choice, I won’t be coming here but if I need that fix I will. The prices are also a bit higher than what I pay closer to home. A positive is that the staff are really friendly and efficient. I have no complaints about them at all.

If you suffer sushi pangs when hitting up the outlet mall in Queensboro you will be thankful for Tora Sushi. The place itself is small and gets very busy, but good sushi at standard prices in this convenient location sures all. Service is usually pretty fast, and I would deem the sushi quality as consistent with fst sushi.
