Very courteous owner and staff. Food was good. If you’ve ever stopped at a dhaba back home and thoroughly enjoyed the food, you’ll love it here. We had a great time.

AH yes, this place. Well, me, the wife, her two sisters and little brother were hungry and this was during our trip to Niagara falls just before new years of 2015. And it was cold. Walked inside, and whew it was hot which is Ok. The place is like a hole in the wall A big square that is very outdated. If you like old looking places, then it’s Ok. Here’s the weird part, the waitress girl, something was up with her. I’m not sure if she was feeling Ok but she seemed very nervous or anxious. Seemed she catered to the middle eastern customers better and felt more comfortable. Not to us though but it’s Ok. I remember before she served us, she dropped a plate or something. I don’t know but her vibe was very weird and she seemed tense. Now the food presentation was good. Nice color and portions, but the prices? WAY overpriced. And you are charged for the naan which is crazy because here in Brooklyn, the naan is included with a full dinner and the little orange rice pudding for 13.99. Not coming here again but best of luck to the business.

Great place. Haven’t heard about Indian AYCE place, apparently they do exist. Good food, I especially liked their stewed eggplant. Biryani was great and so was butter chicken. Make sure to ask for extra plate or two of their great naan — the nice girl were making them as we were finishing the previous plate.

This Indian restaurant is located at a perfect place! The food was very authentic and good spiced. The butter chicken was good. Nice thick and spicy tomato sauce. The service was on point. As I ordered the food came out at a good pace. I wish the décor was a little better it seems to me it’s a little outdated. Price was good not too expensive. Overall I am satisfied and I will come back again when I’m on a vacation.

Had buffet. The kababs were very dry and panner tikka masala was very tangy. Briyani was dry too. Naans came hot and soft. Lamb and chicken curry turned out to be just fine

This little place is such a pleasant surprise! It’s a small space, and from the outside, it kinda looks like it might be a rundown arcade. We wandered in anyway, right when they opened their lunch buffet. The food is fantastic! I’m no authority on Indian cuisine, but all the meats(lamb curry, chicken curry, tandoori chicken, fish something, butter chicken) were cooked perfectly, fork tender, and everything was bursting with flavor. Plus they have mango pudding. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I was here two days ago. It has good location right off of Clifton Hill. The value was good for the area we were in. However, compared to the Indian buffets I usually go to in Toronto this place would have a poor rating. The food tasted okay. The food selection was very limited. There were only 8 items with 1 of them being naan at the buffet. The naan at the buffet was just a filler. We got fresh naan at the table too. The salad buffet didn’t have much either. No dessert.

There are two listings for this place, so I just chose one. It was a Saturday evening, $ 13.99 for all you can eat buffet, yeah why not, let’s go for it! I wish I could tell you what they had to serve but they didn’t have any labels for what the foods were, I can you tell this much: they had naan and rice(obviously), tandoori chicken– where the chicken looks orange and not in soup, I think some rendition of a tikka masala or maybe that’s the butter chicken? some potato dish, and another dish where it looked like greenish rice and chicken in it. Overall I was very impressed with the food, or I was just really hungry, had several servings if I do say so myself. There weren’t many people at first but definitely got crowded towards the end of the meal. They ran of out naan which we were pretty sad about, but then the ladies that were working brought out fresh naan to the table, and they were so attentive and sweet. if you’re looking for some other type of food other than American, I’d say give this place a shot, the price is worth the money. Most of the food has a bit of a kick to it though so if you’re really not good with spice, maybe skip this one. :)

Being an Indian myself, I MAY be overly critical of ALL indian places. That being said however, Curry Queen is in itself, a good place to eat. The buffet seemed fresh and tasteful($ 12.99 per person) while the takeout menu was decent, but they did not seem to understand our order(miscommunication at some points, not sure if it was a language barrier or what). Our takeout also did take nearly 45 minutes to prepare, which was why I had to dock the rating down to the mediocrity indicated by three stars. They also ended up giving us one of the wrong curries. All in all, the food WAS tasty, but our experience could have been so much better with a few simple tweaks.

I ate at this restaurant both days when I went to Niagara falls. The food was great. My advice skip buffet and order off of the menu. You got to try the sizzling BBQ dishes their the best I ever ate.

People, accept the fact that you are in a tourist area, and lucky to find Anything that is not absolute junk. And when you know a bad hamburger combo is $ 13, it’s not all that overpriced. You can eat at Wendy’s, or pay Big Bucks at one of the hotels, or try to find Food. We were happy to find food. The butter chicken was good, as was the paleek aloo. When we asked them to switch out panner for potato, they were happy to do so. The rice is expensive, but good. With rice and 2 dishes we have leftovers. And 3 could have eaten. Well, maybe not 3 men. Go.

Very small place. Food was good and the buffet is really good for the price. Service was lacking, we did get a pitcher of water without any glasses and never got the extra nan that we ordered.

So the food– especially the butter chicken– was great! The atmosphere and service were LACKING! We saw all these reviews about a buffet so we went for that and found that apparently either the server didn’t understand what we asking about or they no longer offer it. I guess I can understand why they no longer offer it as a buffet– we were the only people in the restaurant and it looked like no one had been there for a while! So we sat and ordered a few items– spent almost $ 50 for two people to eat! Kind of a rip off, but now we know that butter chicken is something we really enjoy and have since started making it at home. Thanks at least for that QC.

I’m going to say something positive before calling this restaurant an overpriced tourist trap: Some of the dishes in the dinner buffet were quite excellent: the chickpeas, the mixed vegetables, the potato/eggplant curry, to name a few. But $ 15? Come on. Ten would be pushing it. And I say that because the pakora, the naan, and the desserts were almost inedible. I mean really bad.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our group of 4 ordered the samosas, veg pekora, naan, chicken tikka masala, mutter paneer, and aloo gobi. All of the food was very flavorful and none too spicy(we requested very mild on the spice level) very pleasantly surprised by the tasty food and would definitely return.

Had Curry Queen deliver some dinner last week for the family and me. We started with some Samosas and vegetable pakora. They were tasty and I really liked the dipping sauces that accompanied them. The Veggie Pakora was a bit dry and NEEDED the dipping sauce. I ordered the chicken tikka masala. There was lots of food and big bits of chicken in the bright red sauce. I was expecting some rice or other starch to eat with the tikka masala but certainly managed to consume the dish without it. I had ordered it «pretty mild» and it still had quite the kick. The garlic naan was pretty ho-hum. I did have a hard time placing my order because the restaurant was very noisy. I had to repeat some items multiple times for the order-taker to hear me. The delivery came within the quoted amount of time. I wish they would add prices to their online menu. I was a bit surprised by the total when it was given to me. But being able to sit in our hotel room and look out over the falls was worth it and I’m sure we would have paid twice as much if we had gone out. Thanks Curry Queen!

My family and I found this spot as we were walking up the main strip and decided to stop in favor of my craving for some Indian. I opted for the $ 15 buffet. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the channa and the dhal. Also, our host was very gregarious, accommodating and entertaining. The only minor issues were that the channa was a bit watery the first time and, the second time, the dhal was a bit watery. The establishment is very nice and quaint. It is basically an open seating area with the buffet station in the back and then a small seating area outside and in view of the main strip. So one can eat while also people watching. I give this spot a perfect rating for the taste of the food, the very chill and open atmosphere, the location, the friendly down-to-earth service, and the fact that our entire party left not only satisfied but in higher spirits.

Wandered in here hoping to get a decent curry but not sure if they had anything my kids would eat. As it turns out they serve a nice mostaccioli dish that is great for kids… also nan bread is a universal kid favorite and we ate a big stack of it. There is also a buffet which looked decent but I did not try. Not sure if it was on the menu but I was talking about how much I liked curry with one of the shopkeepers and he put together a madras chicken pretty quickly. Smokin’ hot and delicious!
