Was in Canada side of Niagra Falls for the first time and the last thing I wanted to eat was Chinese Food. I am a New Yorker so food is something we search for during our trips. From the outside this gem looks dirty and typical take out. You go inside and you will be amazed of HOWCLEANTHISLOCATIONIS. When I mean clean I mean top notch quality. They were closing so we were rushed to order take out. I don’t enjoy take out but this was amazingly good. If you want a traditional Chinese meal. GOHERE and SAVEBIG. I spent $ 29.00US and had so much left overs left(feeding three people). I will definitely return here again.

Had lunch on a Sunday afternoon in August, great service. Food wasn’t too salty, tasty and quite authentic. I’m Chinese and was brought up in Asia. We had the Crispy Cantonese Noodles(my favorite), beef and bok choy and were also offered white rice along with our meal. Food came quite fast and piping hot. Portions were not bad and price was very reasonable for a touristy area. I was quite surprise and thought it might be over priced but it would be what I would pay in Maryland for take out on a regular day. Had fun with our hostess trying to educate my hubby on how to order in Cantonese.

You don’t really come to Niagara Falls for the food. It is not known as a mecca for attracting foodies. But one still has to look for good options for food while here as a tourist. This place serves some wonderful Chinese food. There are a few local Asian restaurants in this area. Not knowing which one to goto, we wandered around and came across this place. This is well-situated right near the Clifton Hill area so the location is definitely good for those here to see the Falls and looking for Chinese food. We decided on this place because as you enter the restaurant, you come across a Wall of Fame of A List Hong Kong celebrities who have frequented this establishment in the past. These are some of the top celebrities in Hong Kong from Grasshopper, Lisa Wang, Emil Chau, Wynners, Hacken Lee and Kelly Chen and they all came to this establishment, so you know this is one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. The menu is in both Chinese and English, which is a good thing. Given that this is in a touristy location, don’t expect a truly authentic Chinese restaurant in this area. But the food was pretty tasty and you should try this place if you are looking for Chinese food. They also serve many flavors of bubble tea as well. If you are staying at a local hotel in the area, try the takeout option. There is a 10% discount for take-outs. I would go back!

We ate here last night and I have to say it was the single worst buffet I have experienced with the poorest selection of food choices most of the limited choices shouldn’t even be considered a option like they had a lamb dish that only consistented of lamb bones… Same applied to the pork was no meat just fat & bone… Everything tasted either bland or awful like it was missing key ingredients, would say avoid this place like plague… we all had an upset stomach after eating the little food we did. This place needs a –10 star one is simply being excessively generous!

6÷27÷15: Despite a few Americanized, or I guess I should say Canadianized dishes, I would say for the most part they have the typical traditional Chinese fair. No, it’s nothing special, but not offensive either. It is definitely nice to find a true Chinese restaurant in this extremely touristy area, so bonus points for that. Also, after extensive Unilocaling, and also after trying a few of the higher rated restaurants out here, I can comfortably say that you don’t come to Niagara for food. We ate with my gf’s boss’ family, and so they ordered quite a few dishes and we had a little bit of everything – vegetables, seafood, fried rice, noodles, etc. Yeah, for the most part not as good as the average out here in California, but heck, what is? I don’t think any of the dishes I truly disliked. I’m pretty easy to please with fried stuff – so eating their fried squid and pork chops made me happy. So overall, it was alright with me. So, given the bar is pretty low out here, for any ethnicity, and though the food isn’t particularly good, it’s edible and some dishes sorta tasty… I’d say it’s fine… Yeah, service sucks. But hey, that’s typical, especially at some of the best(most authentic) Chinese places. The one waitress was busy doing stuff behind the counter and pretty much ignored us, but that’s okay I guess. Well, like I said, they get a bonus point for serving semi-real, recognizable, and edible Chinese food out here. That’s cool. 3⁄5 #canada #chinese

This place sucks! Don’t eat here if you want good Chinese food. We ordered curry shrimp and got a place loaded with peppers and a couple of shrimp. The vegetable fried rice does not have any taste and the hot and sour soup is the worst I have ever had. Also ordered sesame chicken and it’s so deep fried you can’t even see a piece of white meat. Not worth it!!!

Went out in a very freezing cold winter day and we were looking for a good food and we decided to choose and try the Chinese restaurant. It is the only Chinese restaurant you can find nearby. Food quality is not that good! Affordable prices if you go with a group. some of the food the we appreciated was the M9– the crispy spicy squid, The rest are just so-so.

Found this restaurant late night on a Saturday after spending the day sight seeing. Menu posted outside looked good and the place welcoming. Glad we went in, place was clean and well kept. Service was fast, also likely coz we were the last folks for the night, and waiter very friendly. We ordered noodles and chili chicken, the food was spicy like mentioned. Tasty, authentic, prices were decent, good portions, and we loved it! Would definitely recommend, we’ll go back anytime!

Usually the sweet and sour pork is amazing however the last time I went here, after sitting down nearly 5 – 7 minutes, a rush of mandarin tourists walked in(a crowd of at least 20) and my husband and I nearly choked! Our food came out rushed and the sauce wasn’t expectantly covered over the pork as it normally is. It was still delicious in my opinion as I enjoy most deep-fried foods lol but my hubby noticed the rice was a bit stale and the beef with onions didn’t come on the plate as hot and sizzling as it normally would had they not rushed the service. Biting into the beef it was definitely rushed — the warmth didn’t last long either sadly. It was a bit of a surprise since normally Niagara Falls is Italian-owned — you can really see the signs if you’re paying attention — vast majority of restaurants other than family-owned like Ihop or Denny’s are Italian based; which is why only the couple of the Chinese restaurants are located at the end of the strip. So you can understand why my hubby and I were a bit surprised when 20 people showed up that is normally dead/quiet on a daily basis — or at least the times we’ve come here to enjoy some quiet time and food. My hubby told me not to order the Canto Chow Mein since I love noodles and crunch so much but he told me for the purpose of it perhaps not being made ‘right’. So for that I trust his opinion and stick with rice and meat options instead! Keep that as a reminder/tip unless generally, you really don’t care about quality.

Very small portions for usual Chinese-style family sharing dishes(rice, etc) and they automatically added 15% tip for a table of 5 with no pre disclaimer. This is not a restaurant I would return to.

Just a block off the busy street this restaurant is delicious we arrived and were quickly seated we had to ask for a combo menu we all ordered from the combo menu great price under $ 10 gets you wonton soup best I’ve ever had once you add some hot sauce. A sting roll and chicken fried rice minus the chicken. Not one single piece in my rice but still very yummy! Would have given this place 5 stars bu while we wee getting ready to leave a group of lady’s were there for take out and were told they would have to wait 15 min because the cool was eating I thought this was rude in my opinion. I myself would have taken my business elsewhere. Anyway if you’re craving Chinese food it’s a great place to stop by and enjoy a lunch combo. Hopefully you don’t get there when the cooks eating lol!

Everytime my family and I go to Niagara Falls, we go to this place. It’s almost like a tradition, but our experience has been getting worse every time(price is going up every year). What to expect –Typical family run restaurant, with typical food and busy ambiance. It is very TOURISTY, though! –Make sure you get there early before Lunch and Dinner hour starts, actually go during the non busy periods, otherwise it may take time to get tables! 2 – 5 pm and 9-closing –Friendly and efficient service. What to eat –They have the same Chinese Canadian food as you’d find anywhere, i. e hot and sour soup, noodles, fried rice, sweet and sour, szechuan dishes blah blah blah. –The food is OVERPRICED for the quality your getting, don’t get me wrong the food tastes fine but it really is nothing special. –They have good chow mein and yung chow fried rice. Unless you are dying to have Chinese food, Lotus Garden is not the place to have authentic food, and it is also very touristy.

We went out looking for chinese and saw this restaurant and the one next to it. We chose this restaurant simply because the ambiance looked better from the street and it turned out to be great. Everything about the experience was great. The fact that they bring Sriracha sauce to every table was a great bonus. About 10 drops added to any won ton soup makes it a great way to remove the chill from your body! Service was great, food was excellent and fresh, atmosphere and music perfect. The only thing is that it was a little expensive BUT everything in downtown Niagara Falls is expensive. So when we fed our family of 5 for under $ 50 we were extremely happy.

We had an order of chicken(similar to general tso’s) and lo mein with veggies, chicken and shrimp that came up about $ 25 and fed three hungry adults. It was pretty good. Def the best price for food we got during our entire trip to Niagara Falls, ON. Also, we asked the person with whom we placed our take-out order if they sell bottled water and he said they do but advised us to get it from a convenience store near by where it was a little cheaper. How nice of him!

Great deal! The bf and I ordered a dinner special which was a plate filled with chicken curry(with tons of peppers), chicken fried rice, an egg roll, and 3 «sweet and sour chicken» balls(which were mainly dough anyways, but still nice). It came with a cup of shrimp and pork wonton soup– all of this for about $ 10. Another person at our table ordered the thai noodle soup, which was delicious(waitress told us that’s what they eat around there for lunch). That was $ 10 and enough for everyone at the table to have multiple cups. We wound up taking a good portion of our meal home since the soup was so filling. We were the only people in there at 3:00 on a Sunday, but that’s probably because it’s winter. It’s a nice place, especially in the midst of all those wonderfully tacky tourist traps.
