Twiggs Coffee Company

Went to Twiggs for breakfast this morning. I ordered the «big breakfast». was given number «19» and told to sit down. So I did. I sat and sat and sat and noticed other people come and go after they ordered food and ate it. Finally I got up an went to the person who took my order originally and told her how I saw people who were there after me get served, eat and leave. So she went to the back– I heard some arguing and she came back out and said «its being remade» NO sorry or anything. Waited another 10 minutes and finally ate. The food was not great. No flavor. If I had to guess I waited at least an hour. Not impressed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE if you are in a rush or if you like good food– go to Burger World or even McDonalds ATLEAST McDonalds is organised!!!
I; for one, will not return and I will be telling my family and friends also!

Had a smoked salmon bagel sammmmich, tasty, fresh. Dessert was good, chocolate tart with almond. Place is modern, artsy, clean and busy. Good service, definitely trying again.

I stop here every time I’m passing through North Bay. Good coffee. I’ve eaten their smoked salmon sandwich and their pizza. Food is good and prices are reasonable.
The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars is because it always seems to be rammed with students — some not even eating/​drinking anymore and I’ve had to take my food to go because there aren’t any tables. I don’t normally mind a busy atmosphere (and have nothing against students) but the last two occasions have been exceedingly busy.
That being said, the service is fast and the staff are friendly.
I heard there is now a Sturgeon Falls location, I’ll be checking it out next time I’m through there

Went for lunch with friends. The place was packed but much to my surprise the line moved quickly and we were able to find a table. I had my favourite pepperoni pizza and decided to try the Italian soda in raspberry flavour. The pizza came hot and delicious. The soda wasn’t that good. Just club soda and a hint of raspberry. Afterward I had a chocolate shake for dessert and I have to say they still have one of the best shakes. Look forward to going again.

Totally unexpected in North bay! I’ve had their pizza, desserts, smoothies, hot drinks. It’s all good! Fair prices but the desserts/​hot drinks are a little pricey, highly recommended!

Great service. Super clean and great hours for students. Not bothered by staff even after sitting down for over 2 hours chatting with friends over tea.

Best place for a coffee in north bay. The pizza is wonderful and inexpensive for lunch. Also an amazing dessert selection.

Best coffee in town, plus it’s fair trade. The staff is always smiling and the café’s atmosphere is perfect. Milk shakes and smoothies are A+. It’s very important to support local markets like this.

A great place for lunch. Daily lunch special is well price. The food is tasty, service is quick, even when its busy during lunch hour.

I normally love my SB, but this was a refreshing change. Delicious baked goods, and their coffee is excellent, better than Tim’s, Timothy’s, and Second Cup (in my opinion).
Modern décor yet very comfortable and welcoming.

It’s a nice enough place, the food is good but don’t order 2 entrées as they wont both fit on the small table, it makes it awkward to try to balance your food, talk and drink your drink as people squish by you. It can be a very busy place, the flow isn’t quite set up right, if you go in the first time you will be lost as you have to go to the right and to the back to place your order and not stand at the front… The counter staff seems a little frazzled at times as you can stand there and it seems like everyone around you gets served but no one will ask to take your order, or you get asked 4 or 5 times if you would like to place your order. I don’t find the staff overly helpful so you best know what you want prior to approaching them, or have someone recommend something but don’t make changes to it, it just ticks off the customers around you. Go during off peek times and enjoy a coffee and a dessert, it will be a nice environment then.

Best café in town. Coffee and drinks are great and their sandwiches and pizza is delicious. The atmosphere is chill and comparable to Starbucks.
