Probably the nicest foam shop I’ve been to, as in my day, the few that I’ve dropped in, with their dirty windows, didn’t quite make a shopping experience.
But this one in Norgate Plaza not only clean, but very helpful; Marg showed me ½ and ¼ inch thickness, so went with the former: when you’re stopping 90 mph pucks coming at you, some extra protection is always nice ;)
And this type of foam is water absorbent, which means sweat doesn’t linger around, that’s the 4^th star.
Bought a 12×12 for just under $ 9, and easy to cut and mould into my goalie pants and trapper, the 2^nd most important area after the family jewels ;)
