Good food in a quaint restaurant at the corner of Bank and Arlington. Dolsot Café’s menu offers classic Korean favourites, including bibimbap, bulgogi and soups. Overall the food is tasty and authentic, with big portions enough to satisfy anyone’s Korean cravings. However, this restaurant still can’t compare to Alirang’s quality of food and explosive tastes. With a little more seasoning, a little less cook on the meat and a lot more sauce, Dolsot has the potential to be one of the best Korean restaurants in Ottawa.

I love this place. It’s one of the two Korean restaurants in Ottawa worth eating at — other one is Alirang. My favourite dish is the gamjatang and my wife’s the kimchi soup. It’s a family run business, all cooked from scratch, with the best kimchi in town to nibble on while you eat. If you want to sample authentic Korean food at an extremely decent price, then this is the pace for you.

Love this place. Family home-styled cooking. Friendly people and good food. Even the side dishes were generous. My order was the pork bone soup with rice. Excellent price too. About $ 9.

The restaurant is connected to the Arum Korean Market, a Korean grocery store. The food is ok, I still think Arirang is the best Korean restaurant in town.
