Not too much special in terms of menu with this restaurant. The inside is not that great looking and service is average. Food quality is decent. Location is very convenient if you happen to be in Chinatown and diggin AYCE sushi

This restaurant used to treat customers nicely and food was well made, although sometimes their creativity went overboard. Lately they have changed their policy on the All You Can Eat deal. Now there is a minimum of a party of two before they will let you have the All You Can Eat. This is discriminatory towards single customers which makes absolutely no sense as I usually eat there by myself. So I do not recommend this place at all if you are by yourself, and given the don’t-care shrug I saw from the owner when I complained, I recommend customers avoid this place as they are not very attentive to their customers, and we all know what the Rule No 1 is when it comes to sales.

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside and the décor inside is dated, but we did fill our bellies with some good food. I quite enjoyed the salmon dishes and the vegetable tempuras. I also sampled a few of the hand rolls, which were bigger than I had expected and tasty. It wasn’t very busy when we went(5:30 on a Tuesday) and the staff were polite, attentive, easy to signal, and relatively quick – they were great at picking up empty plates. The coconut ice cream is a must try!

I was in luck — this was my first time here and I didn’t expect to see escolar on the menu. I love it, so maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think enough sushi joints in Ottawa serve it. We put down an obscene number of escolar and salmon sashimi, not really feeling in the mood for too much rice. It was good, nothing out of this world, but good. What we noticed, though, was that the more we ordered, the thinner the slices got. Unappreciated. The beef sashimi was also pretty good, sliced very thinly, but you definitely had to use the garlic/soy sauce/vinegar they had for dipping, since there wasn’t much flavor in the beef itself. Our plan was not to stay as long as we did, and we did order a lot of food, but the service was still very slow, and even though they seemed patient, we couldn’t help but feel as though the servers were whispering about us in the back, staring directly at us during our whole dinner. We had to remind them of a few of the items we ordered but hadn’t gotten yet, and because they gave us the wrong dessert order, we ended up staying till closing. We thought we would have left earlier, and we felt bad about staying longer, but the chef insisted that he give us the correct dessert we ordered. Really wish the service was faster throughout our meal, which would have made our dining experience more enjoyable. The table beside us ordered some saki bombs, which you also don’t see too often in Ottawa either — we’ll have to try it next time. We did have a good time in each other’s company and left with full bellies, so all in all, the food was decent for the price, especially for all-you-can-eat — I’ve definitely had worse!

Let’s just say it is one of those places where you feel like ripping the owner by stuffing as much sushi as you can in your belly, for only a charge of $ 25 – 30! Their sushi is just okay, nothing great about it! Go in a gang and enjoy the mega feast! :)

It looks like a scary dump outside… think I’m going to eat RAW fish here? The tiles are cracked, it has not been cleaned in years… In side is clean and the food is really good… so you can not judge a book by its outside… $ 20 all you can eat, less for kids by age

I went here a few months ago, and I would definitely say it is a mediocre sushi place. I am a HUGE fan of sushi, and anytime a new all you can eat places opens, I am totally THERE! The quality of the sushi was decent for an all you can eat joint, but the servers didn’t bring a few of the things that were ordered. However, the service is generally fast. I think my favorite roll at this place is their spicy salmon roll. However, I was quite disappointed when I tried to return over the Christmas holidays, and they were closed for over a week. Too bad, they missed out on some good business! I will most likely return, as I have many friends in the area and it’s quite the convenient location.

Went for a late lunch yesterday with my sister. Sushi in the heart of Ottawa Chinatown! We made it at about 3:15 but the dinner service for all-you-can-eat sushi starts at 3:30. What to do? The options are order it all in one go or pay a lot more to order in portions. Well, we chose to get it all the first time! Why not? I’ve done this before. And when the manager came to take our order she even added a few things so we would be surely satisfied. *I must disclose my sister is a vegetarian so the only fish sushi I chose to indulge in was a piece of spicy tuna sushi and butterfish sushi.* It was more than enough food. All of it good enough, some more lacking than others. Strengths were the miso soup, butterfish sushi, udon noodes, both veegtable and tofu tempura, and a whole eggplant terriyaki. Not my favourites were the vegetarian teppanyaki, green salad and I found most maki rolls to have a bit too much mayo. You have a choice of red bean, green tea, mango and coconut ice cream at the end. I got the coconut and it was one of the best I’ve had of that flavour. Great, smiling service. Pretty yummy. 2.75 stars.
