One of the few great places to eat in Red Deer. Prices for lunch are more than reasonable. For dinner, they reflect the quality of the offerings. The location and the décor is slighty odd for an upscale restaurant, but the food more than makes up for that.

We came here on a date a few weeks ago. It was SO loud so at first we thought maybe our waitress was rude because she couldn’t hear us, but we quickly realized that was not the case. The wine was good, but multiple bottles on the list were unavailable. Over all the whole thing came off as arrogant. There is no seasoning available on the table, and it is needed. I don’t expect to have seasoning available on the table as a rule, but the food was bland. The waitress was condescending. The hostess did well, although we stood at the door for quite some time with people walking by and no one addressing us. I will say this, that kitchen hustles. The food came promptly and it was pretty busy. Overall, I think my high expectations hindered my experience. Prices are in line with this kind of restaurant, but I didn’t love the food. I didn’t hate it, but I likely will not be rushing to come back. Best of luck to them though, with some small adjustments this place could be amazing.

Poor service, bland food, I do not recommend this restaurant. The décor is also mediocre. Started with one 2−3oz~ scallop that wasn’t cleaned properly so it was gritty. That was $ 18… The barley risotto it came with was good. Main course was beef cheek. It was soft buy had absolutely no flavour. It was boring as all hell. Others at the table had conchiglie pasta. The pasta had basil, ricotta cheese and tomato sauce and out of season lobster. I could of made that at home for $ 5… Instead it was $ 18+

That was absolutely wonderful! They were serving up some serious upscale casual modern realness. Five star service, and food presentation was equivalent to fine art, and exceeded expectations in taste! Umami at its best.

Very good food. I had the special last Thursday — Yellow tail tuna with a siracha cream sauce & coconut risotto. It was an absolute delight. My better half had a menu item — The Pork Duo. The Duo was incredible, I can’t give the ingredients from memory. What else … Oh the Mushrooms! We ordered a bowl of wild mushrooms to start. While it was a let down that they were not picked on a hiking trip from the Saskatchewan Crossing area … Yeah right … They we so so so amazing. Im going to say it again, they were amazing. We spent just over $ 100& had two Martinis which were bang on. Service was great, knowledgable about every detail & I was inquisitive, genuinely passionate about her restaurant & its food & a warm demeanour. Finally, the atmosphere was surprising. It was nice & we plan to show off Red Deer to our Edmonton & Calgary friends with this gem of a place. We will be there again.
