***SUPERHORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE*** I have been a dedicated Starbucks drinker since my teens. I love Starbucks so much that I worked at Starbucks one time in my life. I like to say I am familiar with Starbucks drinks, its culture and the level customer service that a standard store should provide. I have visited this particular store twice before. This time I decided to redeem my loyalty drink at this store on Feb 12 at 8:00pm. There were three Starbucks staff(partners) on shift — 2 females, 1 male — the male was wiping the floor and was at the end of his shift. The two female partners — one with blond hair in bun, the other with pulled back darker hair and heavier set(she was the more vocal one so I would assume she’s the supervisor since managers normally don’t work closing shifts). I walked up to the counter, greeted the heavier set brunette, smiled and told her straight out that it was my loyalty drink and wanted a customized order. The supervisor did the following: — sulked/glared at me — did not smile — made me feel like I was the worst person to redeem my loyalty drink — I was feeling adventurous and wanted to customize my order. The supervisor pushed back on my order at least twice before I even finished ordering. Not once was there a recommendation. It was purely«I cannot» — Supervisor then discussed my order with the Blonde partner in front of me and rolled her eyes signifying disapproval of my customized drink — My drink came back not blended when I asked it to be blended(customized drink). I know its possible because I’ve worked at Starbucks and I’ve been to other Starbucks that did it. — I asked for it to be blended. Supervisor rolls her eyes and gives eye signals to blond partner. — Supervisor blends the drink and I notice there was leftover in the blender and asked if its possible to have the extra since the blended drink was not filled to the top. — The blond was in the midst of dumping the extra blended drink out anways. — Supervisor said to me in a STERNTONE, «DONOTASKFORTHELEFTOVERNEXTTIME. NOONEDOESTHAT. YOUARENOTALLOWEDTODOIT. I TOLDYOUNOTTOBLENDIT» — She made me feel guilty for even asking for the to-be-thrown out extra of my customized drink — I got my leftovers and sat down to enjoy my drink — I saw the Supervisor and the blond partner in front of the counter glaring at me, rolling their eyes and starring at me. They weren’t speaking in a soft tone so I heard them talking about me INFRONTOFME!!! A normal customer would have left at such hostile customer service. I continued to sit near the counter observed how the customer service was. Heavier Supervisor did not once smile at any customer. It was horrible. I cringed for the service the customers were getting — it is NOT Starbucks standard. I observed the service provided for 1.5 hours. It was the same non-smiling, talking about customers, sulking service all throughout. I even observed a regular coming in and greeted the heavier Supervisor by name and all the Supervisor did was glared at him and didn’t interact back. There are so many close by Starbucks that offer great customer service, interact with their customers positively so why would I come here voluntarily ever again? I’m sorry, but this store is the worst Starbucks I’ve been to.

Usually come here for my starbucks fix and then shop at Pricesmart with my coffee in hand. There’s never a seat available for me and a friend and the area is also too small to study. I’d easily get distracted by the incoming customers.

Starbucks is most convenient coffee shop in town. The coffee consistency is must! The service is friendly and fast. This Starbucks has plenty of parking spot and it located in the mall. So good to have the coffee after I went to the bank and food groceries shopping.

One of the later ones opened in Richmond, from what my Android application said, as I was planning on using the morning receipt on their current promotion, and so me and a family member came to this location. I always found it weird as this one was so close to their other one inside the Chapters in the same plaza, and now the Chapters is gone. and so too… the Starbucks, so this is the one you have to go to if you are around here. Located next to Dynesty and Ebisu, this place seems to be packed on any given day and for good reason, there is pretty good parking lot, located in the center and I think this location used to be a 7 – 11. A little disorganized at times when I come into this place as no one really likes to read signs on where to line up as to ordering, people it is sectioned off. The other part that is kinda cramped is when you are ordering some special drink, the area also has tables, and when it is packed… this area is busy… the one smart thing is that the condiment station is located near here, where I always wondered why they would put it so far from the cashier and where you get your drinks baffles me. Most of the times you are here, the outside seating is all taken up fully, people either enjoying the fresh air… or cause a friend is smoking in the parking lot and watching over their cars. the parking lot is right outside. If you are in Richmond, don’t like to walk far distances away from your 4-wheeled chariot, and just need the mermaids coffee… you are coming here… especially if your in the heart of Richmond, No.3 Road.

I used to love coming here for the free wifi and studying with my friends and then they hired some new staff. I had an extra card and asked the barista to reload it for 20 dollars so I can give as a gift for a friend and then I also ordered a coffee. So she loaded my card and I paid… Then I realized she didn’t charge me for my drinks… So…Guess what she does since she still had my gift card in her hand… She swipes my gift card and uses that to pay for the drink I just ordered. I told her… «Ummm that gift card was a gift… Why did you use it?»… The barista not wanting to admit she made a mistake brushes me off and then scoffs at me saying«it’s all the same! Money is money!»(She had a thick European accent… And I couldn’t really understand her). Then I tell her again«um that gift card isn’t for my personal use… That’s supposed to be a gift»… The barista still brushes me off… The asst manager was behind her and told me «I should’ve told the barista the gift card was a gift… So it was my fault»… Me — «what?!? I did tell her that!!!» But they just shrugged their shoulders and I just stomped off. I was so furious. I think the barista and asst manager were friends, because after I turned around they began speaking in a different language frantically. I haven’t gone back ever since that incident. I’d rather go to the starbuck inside the ackroyd rd chapters.

Now this will be in even more demand as the nearby one inside Chapters is closing down soon. No wonder I couldn’t get a seat. Nice they offer the pull-down slides at the window bar seating. 5 patio tables outside. Parking can be hairy here in this busy plaza, sandwiched between Ebisu and Dinesty taiwanese.

This place is… just…amazing. I go to starbucks around 2 times a week. Everything in starbucks tastes amazing like you can literally order ANYTHING and it will taste good but I do wish that it could be a little cheaper… The Frappachinos there taste amazing, my ‘usual’ frap is a green tea frap with peppermint syrup, low ice. And that’s probably my warm day drink at starbucks. My cold day drink is a green tea latte, I also recommend the starbucks refreshers because they taste soooo good I just can’t explain. I love the customer service because the employes are all so friendly but it dose bug me when they pronounce my name wrong… Honestly, I don’t really go to starbucks very often because a grande averages around just under 4 $ and that stacks up over time but overall, it’s a great coffe shop P. S. Sometimes on rainy days I go there to get a drink and sit inside or maybe outside and use their free wifi: p(not every starbucks has an outdoor seating area or even a seating area in General but that’s fairly rare.)

Very busy Starbucks, this is my sister’s favourite place whenever she is in town. Located in the same mall where there is another Starbucks inside Chapters. They always have lots of free downloads of songs or games here. Not just on Tuesdays.

Since moving over the bridge, this is definitely my favorite Starbucks. They have a clean interior, friendly partners, a drive thru, and almost never make mistakes with my drinks. It has a decent amount of seating, and lots of parking. Only minus is the location can be awkward to get to, but it’s a pretty minor inconvenience.

I come to this Starbucks basically everyday but I’ve never sat down for long enough to check in or write a review. Need to be clear on two things: 1. I am generally not a Starbucks person. See: My 80+ check ins at Blenz 2. This Starbucks is my business’s direct competition(I’m the manager of Starbucks at Target opening in Lansdowne). I should hate this place. But I don’t. I really quite love it. All of the staff is amazing, especially the morning crew. They’ve been so kind and remember conversations we had, they offer up suggestions and they even give me some educational information on my own store. The drinks they make I feel like are what Starbucks standard is. You have no idea how many times I’ve thrown out a beverage from Starbucks. Hence Blenz. But not here. It’s always super clean, service is fast, and seating is usually not scarce. As far as it goes, this is the location that gives me the impression of what I’ll need to do at my store to be successful. Shout outs to Sabrina for being the best employee around!

It’s a Starbucks. Has everything a Starbucks needs, even RCMP officers much of the morning, I think they spell off each other in this store. Well the upside is I’m sure it never gets rowdy, but tell me why they don’t have donuts for the nice cops???

This place makes the best frapps. They always make my drink up to standards, there is definately enough syrup, and they do not charge extra for extra java chips. the java chip frapp is so rich, creamy and delicious. The servers are really nice too, they actually pay attention to detail. The wait time is not long either, even during peak hours.
