–Really tasty, the broth of their signature has a strong alcoholic fragrance, which I liked –always make a reservation and call ahead, they are usually very busy –meal for 3 came to about $ 80, it is on the pricey side –3 step eating process: eat the chicken, cook vegetables/sides with broth and meat, add water to make it into a soup –there is choice between chicken with bone or without(more expensive). The meat with bone are more juicy, but annoying to eat(usually joint pieces) — very polite service –taiwanese fruit beer avaliable

Came here on a Sat night, it wasn’t busy, got seated right away. The food was ok, we ordered a large original chicken pot with around 4 – 5 side orders, it was flavourful but nothing special. What was a bit overwhelming was the service. Our server looks she’s pissed off(we have no idea why). Whenever she comes to cook our food, there’s the awkward silence, no explanation, no greeting, nothing! We ended up order nothing for the last step, we had no idea we have to order other sides for the soup as well, so the soup we got was just water added into the leftover sauce. -.- Everything reached to the climax when we waited to pay for our bill, we were totally ignored because every staff was having dinner together when the restaurant is not yet closed! We waited around 20mins for them to get our bill, then waited 15mins for them to pick up the money, and waited another 30mins to get our change. We were just speechless, when we reminded them, they replied: «So sorry, we are too focused on our dinner.» God! I couldn’t believe it! Guess what, we will never come back again.

I’d say 21⁄2 stars Food expensive for the portion served. Drunken chicken(Original version) $ 20 Basically it was just small pieces of chicken with leeks and celery. For the price I would expect more chicken and more greens etc. $ 20 is quite expensive for a few pieces of chicken. Rice not included. Taste is above average as chicken is very well flavoured. Fried oysters $ 10 This is good, I like the fact there is not much batter. Outside crunchy but inside oyster gems are moist and fresh. Taste great. Fresh Siu choi $ 3 Had to be reminded 3x to bring the veggies. We had to vacate our table @ 7pm, we got our veggies @ 6:45pm which means our mouth basically got burned trying to swallow hot veggies with soup. Blah. Rice $ 2.50 Very small bowl of rice for the money but rice was nice and moist. Parking is impossible. Not much reason to come back unless price goes down or they do Groupon deal. Generally speaking food taste good, can’t say the same about service, parking or portion size.

Macau sparerib pot $ 24.994⁄5 — Very flavourful but we also worried about it being too good. We were all wondering if they have added any chemicals. The pot was also bigger than we expected. We didn’t need to ask anybody to add more stock. We had leftovers because we didn’t want to go crazy with the soup. prawns and egg yolk stir-fry with toast $ 11.282.5÷5 — I would have called this stir-fried curried prawns with onions. I was expecting salty egg yolk. Don’t order this unless you want loads of onions. fish slices $ 5.53⁄5 — fresh but nothing special. The slices were a little too thick. fish dumplings $ 5.53.75÷5 — the skin was thin. The filling tasted more squid and cuttlefish than fish. deep fried cuttlefish balls $ 7.994⁄5 — everything deep-fried is good ~haha~ It came with spiced salt. It was salty enough for me and I didn’t even use any of the salt. vegetarian noodles $ 5.684⁄5 — The photo says it is a noodle without soup. It was meant to add this into your soup base. We waited for an hour for this and it was in a bowl of soup?! We got confused and the server told us that that’s what they thought we wanted because we didn’t get a stir-fried pot. It would be better if I could cook the noodles in my sparerib pot. The vegetables in the photo was gone. There were only 2 pieces of vegetables, corn, and mushrooms. milk tea $ 9.33.5÷5 — smooth and silky. I would prefer this to be less sweetened. It would be even better if we can pick the sweetness. Too bad 1⁄3 of it was ice. Service 4⁄5 — very good for a Chinese restaurant. They gave us a sample size starfruit vinegar when we first sit down. We all liked it and the server asked if we want more. We asked that a few times but every single time we still got a sample size. I’m wondering if they can add this to the menu. Our food came pretty quick until our second round of order. The place were packed and we waited for an hour for our second half order. We got asked a few time if we needed anything else(as in trying to give us our bill and kicked us out). We were still waiting for our food~!!! My advice would be come here earlier than later. They still have people making reservation for 10pm. Reservation is a must. We tried to call the same day and they only have tables after 8:30pm or 9pm.

Came here to try due to the buzz and fever around the newly-opened place. Pro: wine blended well with the chicken. Clam soup tastes so fresh. Con: too salty. Very small portion for the pricing. Waitresses not well-trained at all. Conclusion: more people will come and try the fresh stuff for once. But to keep repeated clients coming back and survive the first few months, that may take downward price adjustment, for about 30%.
