First off, I admit that Safeway is not my go to grocery store. I find their prices consistently 50−100% higher than other grocery chains.
Never the less, I pop in here from time to time for specific items including their adorable bakery cupcakes that usually come with a plastic cartoon ring on top to the delight of my children. At $ 2 a piece, you can’t go wrong!
I’ve never had to wait more than five minutes in line and staff are efficient and friendly.

I have had problems here before with fruits (mostly raspberries and strawberries) rotting the very next day or some being mouldy in the middle but today was the icing on the cake. I found the pound of nice fresh red ground beef to be mixed with older grey meat… I honestly can’t believe they would do that.
I will never return to Safeway.
