Friendly service. Good food, the potatoes with my breakfast dish was delicious! They also have good wifi which was much appreciated.

Great setting, friendly staff! Their sausage, apple, and cheddar eggs Benedict is to die for! Perfect place to stop before hopping on the ferry!

It was fine. The pancakes were tasty and the eggs and sausage were average. There was no fresh fruit on the menu which was disappointing. The staff were very friendly if a bit slow.

I was a little skeptical of a southern food restaurant in Saint John New Brunswick, but everything tasted great to me! The inside of the place is open with lots of light and big windows to see all of the cool nearby buildings. The waitress was quick and attentive. My crab cake eggs benny on cornbread was awesome. I would go here quite a bit if I lived in such a great place; but for now, I’m resigned to only going here whenever I find myself in Saint John.

One of the best breakfast places I have ever been to! So delicious! We had breakfast sandwich and wrap as well as pancakes, tea and hot chocolate. If I lived in Saint John, I’d totally become a regular at this place. Staff is super friendly. Changes to dishes can be made without a problem. Loved the place: brick walls, dark wood, super clean, nice style! Awesome music selection! Highly recommended!

I was expecting great things from this place. We stopped just after noon for lunch. Maybe we should have had one of the benny options, but instead opted for typical lunch items. Staff was around, but not attentive to our table. Fries were soft, as were the sweet potato chips served as a side. Like i say, maybe other items on the menu are better, but we won’t be going back soon.

This place is great! We were in Saint John for a day and needed some food before exploring the Uptown area. I found this café/restaurant here on Unilocal and decided it was worth a try. It absolutely was. Their menu has a ton of interesting options. There’s a Grilled Watermelon Salad, which I’d never heard of, and Catfish and Chips, which is pretty unique. We ended up going with two sandwiches, the Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese and the Pulled Chicken Club. The sauce on the grilled cheese’s pork was so good, and it complemented the cheese really well. And the chicken club was delicious(not that anything with«peppered maple bacon» and cheddar cheese could not be). And the toasted bread for both sandwiches was great, which is a huge plus for me. But as great as these were, what really blew me away was the Lobster Poutine(yes, lobster poutine), which was«fresh-cut french fries topped with lobster meat, double cream brie and a creole cream sauce.» You could get it as a side or add it to your meal for $ 5. I chose the latter, and my god was it amazing. It was easily one of the best poutine rendition I’ve ever had. Overall, amazing place!

Best breakfast of our trip… get one of the egg Benedict variations, BLT Benedict over cornbread was terrific, as we’re the waffles, comfortable room on the bourbon side, sat in the window, excellent cup of coffee

Visited the Magnolia Café with friends from the Cruise ship today. Terrific friendly prompt service. Great specials and the soup of the day was a potato basil… excellent. We all had different entrées and each felt their choice had to be the best!
