Friendly service and a clean convenient location but 12 bucks for a taco and a pop. Beef taco was tasteless. It was more like beef paste than beef pieces. Could have easily been refried beans. Tomatoes and lettuce were soggy. Nacho chips were crisp but REALLY greasy. Provably some of the worst fast food I have ever tried. It sure as heck isn’t Mexican.

I didn’t even know this Taco Time existed until my friend had a «wonderful» idea to try it out. When I first stepped in through the cracked glass door I was welcomed with the smell of stale bread. After taking 5 minutes to order Taco Time adventure was finally starting. They told me to find a seat and they would deliver the tacos to my table. After waiting 20 minutes sitting in a chair with 3 legs instead of 4 my food was finally delivered. I unwrapped the wrapping paper to see a taco shell nearly burnt with tomato paste oozing out of the taco. After complaining to the management they were able to refund 50% of the original price. Taco Time, gotta love it.

Taco Time has been my #1 choice for fast food for a very long time. It was my mom’s favourite when I was growing up so I always loved it. This Taco Time was also my first real job. It was right between my high school and my apartment so it was perfect, plus I loved the food. Okay, so that was 10+ years ago, but the owner is still the same and he is still running the place impeccably. As with most fast food joints, his staff was mostly made up of high school students. But he helped us develop a strong work ethic and I’ve carried a lot of the values I learned there with me into adulthood. Fast forward to the present day — The food is always fresh and the service is fast and friendly. Even thought I now live in Millwoods, anytime I find myself far enough north, I make a point to stop in.
