Grant’s Crossing is another huge venue, enhancing the growth of Ottawa’s true«west end». The Kanata /Stittsville area has grown and expanded in leaps and bounds over the last 10 – 15 years, and we’ve badly needed some good shopping. Grant’s Crossing plaza sure fits the bill! It’s a bit like a big box mall because of the grand-scale shops, and it is spread out a bit, but this also provides for plenty of parking. Just for the purposes of trying to give you an idea of where this mall is located, it across the street from, and very close to the site which used to hold the old flea market up until a few years ago. If you were sitting in the new Timothy’s Coffees of the World, looking out the window you would see an old farm, We have already seen wild turkeys there this summer! There’s lots of shopping in this neighbourhood now! And this plaza turns out very often to be my «go to» place for my everyday needs. I will be back!
