This was perfect for us after we moved in to our new place and were exhausted and in need of a caffeine fix. We both had their house espresso and my husband had a walnut muffin while I had a veggie cheese croissant. These were all excellent! I enjoyed the ambiance and the location immensely and can see this being our favorite neighborhood spot! They have a patio at the back and tons of seating inside too — bar style, small little tables, window seating, and a communal table. It reminds me of Astro coffee in Detroit but with nicer baristas. It would be awesome if they could add sandwich/​panini style offerings, especially for breakfast. There are apparently evening cabaret events — must find out more! Highly recommended.

Best pastries, incredible coffee, flawless ethical business practices — plus locally made pottery mugs for all the americanos. Doesn’t get any better.
