Called up to inquire whether they would be showing UFC fight Saturday and was greeted by a friendly staff member who answered yes, and suggested I make reservations due to a Canuck game showing the same night. Arrived at pub and was seated promptly with a large 70 inch HD tv to my left and 45 – 55 inch tv’s to the front right and behind me so I was a happy camper! The place is nice and clean with a modern look and nicely lit — it has plenty of seating and by the time the main fights came on the place was packed without being too stuffy. The waitress that was serving us was super friendly and attentive. The food was really good and plentiful considering it’s pub food. We ordered nachos with shredded pork, 4 beers, 3 cokes, and deep fried cajun chips and the bill only came to $ 53! The patrons that were there were also friendly and boisterous as the night wore on, but it made for a great night out!

6:45 on Sunday Night Football. The place wasn’t busy, per se, but the small crowds that were there were boisterous so it was super loud… borderline obnoxious… definitely lively. Caesars and 20 oz Budweiser on special for $ 5. They also offer Coors Light, Molson, or a pilsner for $ 5 everyday. Sunday food special is half price appies from 2 – 9 pm. We ordered poutine, mac and cheese(both half price), and a smoked meat sandwich. The poutine appeared to be overcooked but tasted fine. I enjoyed the rosemary in the gravy. I’m glad that I didn’t pay full price for the mac and cheese — I think it was $ 12.95 full price. It was pale and looked really pre-portioned and was warm but not hot. I liked the spinach and mushrooms in it. It tasted good, not spectacular. My husband ate the sandwich and said it was average. Man of many words. I think we would come back again to try other menu options. It’s in the neighbourhood and wasn’t terrible. I liked the atmosphere and décor, which had changed since I was last here.

Solid place to eat and watch football, lots of TVs and seating. This place does get really busy during any type of main event but they always make an effort to accommodate. Food is great for pub standards. Good drink specials.

i went on a Karoake night… it was nice to see that at a pub during a week day! The food service is quite long but the food makes up for it. I mean nothing off the chain or anything but still a good local place to go to :)

A solid 3⁄5. The fish and chips was very crispy with a nice thin beer batter. Fries are plank style and well done. Oddly, the chipotle coleslaw was the best part! BLT was ok. Bacon was a bit lame and only in the middle of the sandwich. Gravy never arrived, so we can’t say… I had the NY steak with roasted mushrooms(er…mushroom). The steak was good, done to a very nice medium well, as requested and juicy. Garlic mash was a bit heavy on the garlic, but a good texture. I appreciated the waiter bringing me extra mushrooms as the plate only had a couple slices when it arrived. Would have liked gravy or butter for the mash. Overall, for the price, no complaints. I wouldn’t run back, but it was a step up from fast food.

Stopped in on Sat jun 21 afternoon for a cold beer. One server looking after all customers as well as the bar. She was more interested in flirting with her freinds. Got a menu but no follow up so i didnt order food. Her pals told her to crank the tunes. And boy did she. Left my beer and once she left her freinds she took my money. I wont go back. Beer was nice and cold but its obvious this bar needs a manager.

This pub is a lot better than I thought it would be. From the outside it doesn’t appear that aesthetically pleasing however inside has a modern design and isn’t overall a huge pub therefore neat to be able to see from wall to wall. Service was really good and this pub even has a comedy show on Thursday evening that I was on hand to watch. «A» for effort Jacks Pub! Food was alright however I only ordered the steak sandwich that was on special and definitely need to explore more of the menu before making a sound overall critique on the dining. Monday to Friday 3:00 — 5:00 appy hour will definitely bring me back to this fleetwood pub soon!

Food was awesome. Atmosphere is typical for a pub. Service was great. I have been to this pub before and after the recent reopen and it’s a decent pub. I’ll be back.

Sold to new owners, food is blah, service is just«ok» … Pro: never seems busy anymore so finding a table is pretty easy!

Great spot for groups. Excellent service, food very good. They offer daily specials(39 cent Wing Wednesday) and a limited craft beer selection. Never had to wait for a table. A go-to spot.

An unexpectedly good pub lunch in the thickets of strip mall Surrey. My co-workers and I came for Friday lunch. The Man’s policy sez: no drinkin’ during workin’ hours, or going back buzzed, but that’s fine because Jack’s actually has a nice list of virgin drinks, like my new favourite, «Short Island Ice Tea.»(Co-workers tittered when I ordered it, until I showed them the menu — look, I’m not a total boozehound, guys.) Anyway, the real reason for the rating is that the food is fresh, excellent — and cheap. I had the soup and sandwich special($ 8) which comprised bacon, tomato and Parmesan soup and a pulled pork sandwich(you had me at «bacon»!). The homemade-tasting soup came in a big bowl, and the pulled pork, topped with coleslaw, was in a toasted ciabatta bun. I almost took my mates up on their offer of helping out with a piece of yummy-looking flatbread, but had more than enough on my own plate to work on. I’ve noticed Jack’s also runs a shuttle service to pick up and drive home patrons on Friday and Saturday nights. That seems really cool!(And smart business, too.)

My favorite neighborhood pub in Vancouver(GVRD). The new management has completely changed the menu for the better, and the homemade soups are delicious. A great place for lunch or a evening drink to watch the game on one of their many large screen televisions. They are extremely accommodating to allergies and large groups!

Processed Cheese when the menu says cheddar… Need I say more? Probably not… but I’m going to anyway… I’ve been here a few times before and it was decent… although that was only for wings, but after last night… Really disappointed… First off I order a $ 12 Chicken club sandwich and it arrives with very plasticy looking processed cheese. I take a bite… and surprise, surprise… it tastes very plasticy too. When the waitress finally comes around to check on us, I ask her if they normally use processed cheese. She says«Yup». At this point I tell her that the menu states Cheddar Cheese and that it is misleading as to what I’m actually ordering. I say«It would be nice if the menu stated that you actually use Processed Cheese and not Cheddar.» She says«Yeah» and walks away. Normally I would complain… but I was in a hurry and really didn’t have time to return my meal and wait for something else. So I begrudgingly finished it, went to the bathroom… which was a total mess(and it’s not as if they were busy) and left. Just because I’m trying not to be completely negative… the beer was fine and the fries were good. Also, the Greek wrap was apparently alright as well… I don’t think I’ll be back any time soon. If you’re looking for a pub to have something to eat in, try Green Timbers or Fleetwood Arms instead.

I was really disappointed that they shut down the only Kelly O’Briens in Surrey to open this«replacement» for an Irish Pub. I had a Guinness, and as far as Guinesses go it was alright. However since we were sitting on the patio outside the waiting staff wasn’t the greatest. They were pretty slow in giving my party more booze.
