I go through the drive through every morning and yes the parking lot is tricky to maneuver around but the service is so nice! I don’t know what these kids get paid or if it’s just the great coffee lol but they are so kind and always friendly!

Small location. Available all standard Starbucks coffees and food products. Need to be carful when crossing from parking lot to store as cars seems to drive fast.

I don’t normally do reviews for Starbucks because to me they’re the McDonald’s of coffee and if I don’t like a location I’ll just go to one of the many other coffee shops in this area. However, this experience lingered, and I felt the effects of it even today, so I have to say something. I came here to buy a coffee and wait for a taxi to take me out of Surrey on Friday Jan 23. I don’t dislike Surrey, but I don’t like it either, and I don’t like being there by myself at night, even at 6PM. I ordered a Grande Soy Tazo Chai. Before I was done my order, and without thanking me, the barista working shouted very loudly at her coworker something to do with being sad they’re not on shift together… yawn. I took that to mean I was dismissed and went to the bathroom. When I got out, my drink was waiting for me but it was the wrong size. I informed the barista on bar that I had ordered a Grande and might not have time to wait for her to remake it because I’m waiting for a cap. They insist, and using the now-cold milk she had previously steamed, remade my beverage which was luke warm at best, tasted really watered down(she compensated for the lack of milk by adding extra water… thanks for that) and was generally unsatisfying. The partner that took my order then handed me a gift card for 4 $ saying she was sorry and the next drink would be on them. Not what I wanted(a hot drink for a cold and rainy night) but I was pressed for time. Fast forward to this morning, I attempt to use the card they gave me at the Starbucks by my house, only to find out it wasn’t even activated and there was no money on it. I was embarrassed by that but it wasn’t my fault, so I explained what had happened at a previous store and they just gave me my order for free, which was nice of them, but it doesn’t discount the failures of the previous store. They must have scraped their staff from the bottom of the part-time college student barrel. Anyway, I won’t come back here again and I warn other shoppers to avoid and go for the next store down the street, or better yet, ensure you have plenty of time on your hands, double check your gift card balances, and be ready to experience poor service and poorly made beverages.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks. It’s cosy and atmospheric, but has lots of seating and is well lit. Lots of power plugs too and you’ll see many students here taking advantage of that. The staff is invariably cheerful and friendly. My only wish is that they would stay open later. 9PM is pretty early for me but seems to be the norm around here for coffee shops.
