Taco Bell

a slow, delicious death. instead of cigarette smoking, i took up taco bell. don’t spare the awesome sauce.

The Twelve Taco Pack does not count as a combo meal.
Let me just get that out of the way.
There is no Taco Bell in Abbotsford. For Mexican fast food, we only have it’s far inferior brother, Taco Time, which I am not completely convinced isn’t a money laundering operation. I mean honestly, how do you stay open for twenty years selling like 4 tacos a week? Something else has to be bringing in the money.
Taco Bell in Cloverdale, on the other hand, is always busy. This makes me happy, because I know there is a decent turn around time on that brown/​orange meat type filling that goes in their various products. It’s also open fairly late, when you aren’t feeling like a burger or pizza. I’ve only ever gotten sick there once, but that was attributable more to the previously mentioned Twelve Taco Pack fiasco, rather that any food borne pathogens. What can I say, in my early twenties, scoffing at friends’ warnings, and an effort to prove ones manliness by tackling «The Pack» seemed like a capital idea. Eight tacos in, one comes to terms with his own folly.
That said, if you avoid ridiculous gluttony, Taco Bell ain’t bad at all.
